The good: Verizon's LG Intuition has 4G LTE, NFC capabilities, and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The bad: The Intuition may be unwieldy for some, its screen's 4:3 aspect ratio is unusual, and it can't store its stylus internally.
The bottom line: The LG Intuition from Verizon is a reasonably priced, Android 4.0 'phablet,' but its specs can't compete with Samsung's Galaxy Note family.

The screen on this phone is truly gorgeous. The 4:3 ratio and the size of the device make the LG Intuition an ideal device for surfing the web, sending emails, and posting to social networking sites. Images look beautiful on the screen. I was impressed with how easy it was to learn to use this phone and with how fast the processor is. I don't notice a lag when I'm swiping through the screens.
Most of my apps seem to work well with the 4:3 ratio, too. World Newspapers was an exception to that, however. I was able to adjust the screen so that the app looks better, however. So, problem solved! There is a letter box around videos. That's disappointing, but in all honesty, it doesn't bother me. This screen is so large that those black bars just don't seem very important. I barely notice them now and I've had the phone for about a week.
I've been very pleased with the call quality on the phone. Callers have reported that I sound very clear on it, too. I also don't really mind holding the phone up to my ear. I was afraid that the size would bother me in that regard, but it doesn't. I don't like driving while talking on it, however. I would prefer to use a headset for that purpose.
The phone comes pre-installed with some marvelous widgets. I love the social media app. It allows you to posts on Facebook and Twitter and allows you to post directly to both of them. Many Android phones have a similar widget, but this one works exceptionally well. I haven't been as pleased with other social media widgets that I have used. There are also widgets that allow you to immediately call or text a particular person as well as a Yahoo news widget, calendars, etc.
The notebook widget is also wonderful. It allows you to keep a notebook stored on your home screen so that you can easily access it and add more notes, etc. (Even without the widget, this app is excellent. I find it very useful to be able to take notes during meetings or when I'm walking around and I just need to jot down something. My favorite feature of this phone is probably the note-taking capabilities. In addition to the notebook app, there is a dedicated button on top of the device that allows you to take an instant screen shot. You can then write on the image, save it to your photo gallery, add it to a notebook, send it to someone, etc.
It's disappointing that there is no place to store the stylus on the device, but I've addressed that problem by purchasing a case that can store a stylus. I do enjoy using the stylus. It's easy to hold and use. You can also write on the phone with your finger nail.
I do tend to need to charge the phone during the day, but I'm a very heavy user. I wish the phone had an SD card slot, but it has plenty of onboard memory. I've already moved tons of music onto it along with apps, photos, and short videos, but I still have tons of memory left.1 out of 1 users found this user opinion helpful.

Pros: Touch screen. Screen shots. Multi-function apps.
Cons: Better battery
Summary: phone is an all-purpose. all business, all play phone. just needs a better battery, but you can manage the battery with low screen brightness and closing apps.

Love this phone better than iPhone 5.
by carrielk52 on October 27, 2012
Pros: Love that it's a phone and a tablet. It has crisp & vibrant colors, not too big for my average sized hands, no dropped calls, frozen screen or poor reception. Battery last me 1 1/2 days. It has so many sweet features. Great Android phone!
Cons: Have had this for 32 days and no complaints.
