The good: Sprint's LG Optimus G sports a 13-megapixel camera, a zippy quad-core CPU, and an attractively bright touch screen.
The bad: The Optimus G doesn't have a microSD card slot, its battery drained fairly quickly, and sounds from the audio speaker were harsh.
The bottom line: Despite its short battery life, Sprint's LG Optimus G is the best LG phone on the market due to its zippy processor, lovely display, and 13-megapixel camera.

Best phone I have ever had. Replaced an Evo 3d.
by Josh_C_C on December 13, 2012
Pros: The phone is very fast, light and the screen is fantastic. There is no lag when pushing buttons or browsing the internet. Battery is actually pretty good, even playing around with it I get through the whole day no problem.
Cons: Some functions aren't in logical places, it took a while to figure out how to change the alerts.
Summary: I would definitely recommend it to anyone considering an android phone.

Super fast and smooth.
by MrHumanAndroid on November 21, 2012
Pros: One of the fastest mobile Android devices with one of the best graphics cards.
Cons: The price could be lower but is still not bad when you look at other devices.
Summary: This amazing device offers one of the best performances in use seen from Android devices.
The only problem is it's not yet upgraded to Jellybean.

Everything is outstanding but the battery life.
by Nothaniel on May 20, 2013
Pros: The screen looks great, holds 32GB so more than enough room, the screen size is completely perfect, and it handles everything I do on it with complete ease.
Cons: The battery life is the only con, sometimes it dies within hours, sometimes it will die in a couple of days.
Summary: Even though the battery could of been better, this phone is superb for the price that you're getting it at. Its built quite sturdy, looks amazing, functions exceptionally, and ...
Summary: Even though the battery could of been better, this phone is superb for the price that you're getting it at. Its built quite sturdy, looks amazing, functions exceptionally, and is great for any task you do with it. It isn't jammed with all that pre-loaded useless apps, and it usually runs cool even when gaming. Can't suggest it enough, OH AND ITS MADE IN KOREA.

Not bad. Replaced my 3D as well but went to a Note II.
by c_b_z85 on April 20, 2013
Pros: Brilliant HD screen is very impressive, body is very sleek and lightweight, zippy quad-core processor allows most apps to run flawlessly, camera resolution is almost comparable to my $650 16mp PNS camera, and the price (with a deal) is excellent!
Cons: Battery runs down rather quickly, battery/power saver option causes some apps/games to bog down, without battery/power saver option on NFS: MW did not run too smooth, phone receiver speaker could allow for crisper calls as could the speakerphone.
Summary: I upgraded from a Evo 3D to the Opt G, which surprisingly I'd say my Evo 3D was overall better (to mention I never really even used the 3D ...
Summary: I upgraded from a Evo 3D to the Opt G, which surprisingly I'd say my Evo 3D was overall better (to mention I never really even used the 3D that often, so that's not even a considerable factor). The thing that "tips the scale" is that NFS: Most Wanted ran flawlessly on my Evo 3D, opposed to it bogging/lagging on the Opt G (with power/battery saver option OFF). I ended up giving it to my wife and switched to a Note II, which I'd say is 10x better (if you don't mind the bulkiness, especially inside of an OtterBox). Back to the LG - it's a great phone overall, especially for business or everyday entertainment stuff, maybe not so much for the gamer though (even though the screen does look so darn good). The price is more than reasonable with a deal they'll surely give you. All in all, it's a great piece of technology. I just rated it low because the processor just couldn't keep up, making me feel that the phone was overrated from the start. Maybe it was a bad one? Oh well, LOVE MY NOTE II so I'm good.

Summary: By far one of my favorite devices in the hand. I love how customizable everything is and the battery is not an issue. If people have a problem you can just reduce the speed, which is also an amazing feature. The camera quality is spectacular, I've had the Droid DNA and Iphone 5, but this phone surpasses both. I personally do not like holding the S3, it feels very cheap in the hand. I like the weight on this phone it feels polished and very good in the hand.

Summary: i have been a samsung and saony fan for more than a decade. i was greatly anticipating the XperiaZ and S4 releases. However my previous device just didnt hold out (Epic 4g). When it busted i was forced to get a new phone earlier than i wanted. I chose this one because it had been on my radar for a while. It had the right specs and features i wanted. I just had not used an LG phone before, so i was reluctant. I have helped many with updating, teaching of use, rooting, and helping to inform on purchase, of many phones. i have an iPad, Thinkpad Touchpad, two laptops, wife has an S3, daughter a nexus s 4g. All of which are good devices, but this has become my favorite to date. Every day it seems to impress me with something new. The camera is amazing for my daughters sports events. the Google hangouts look great. All of my favorite apps work perfectly. Games are zippy and music sounds great. Everyone at work is jealous of my LG. Even die hard iPhone and s3 users at my tech job are reconsidering their purchases. So glad my last phone died before the s4 was released yesterday. I couldn't be happier. Thanks LG

Summary: This is a computer that happens to be a phone. Where as the iphone is a phone that happens to be a computer with apple restrictions. I love Apple products but unfortunately I think Samsung has trumped them. I would like to see Apple increase the screen size and battery life, only then will I look at rejoining the Apple universe in the phone arena.
Sorry my Review was for the Galaxy Note 2 not the LG Opitmus G.
