The good: The LG Viper is eco-friendly, records superb video in 1080p HD, and comes with an NFC chip that lets you wirelessly transfer data to other NFC-enabled devices.
The bad: The LG Viper can only run on Sprint's 3G network for now, and audio quality is subpar as well.
The bottom line: Although many of its features still won't be available by the time it hits stores, the LG Viper is a reliable, environmentally conscious device with an excellent camera.

AN ECO FRIENDLY SMARTPHONE

Pros: This phone has great speed, limited bloatware, is made from re-cycled material so the phone didn't cost much to the manufacturer to make.

Summary: This phone is similar to the LG Lucid that everyone on Verizon has come to love! It has a 5MP camera (not bad, honestly) video chat app you can use with the front facing camera, so you can talk to your friends and family far away. Wireless media streaming (can send the media to any Bluetooth source, and a Micro-SD card slot.
I'd recommend this phone, I can't find a bad thing to say about it. Excellent battery life. When at best buy testing this device, I played with it for almost 20 minutes, and didn't see the battery go down. Was not plugged in and was on YOUTUBE, FB, Apps, all that, and it didn't die. I'd really recommend this phone, and hope my review helps you towards getting it.

A huge mistake

Summary: It boggles my mind that someone would create a phone so poorly. Let me just start from the beginning. I got this phone back in May of 2012 instead of an iPhone just so I would be unique. It was probably the biggest mistake of my life. Right off the bat i hated the phone. I was issued the phone at about 50% of battery, and it died when I was walking out of the store. I still, to this day, cannot use the phone on 3G speeds because it drains my battery in about an thirty minutes without use. I don't have apps because they lag out my phone. I don't have music because the speakers are terrible. I don't have pictures because the camera is worse than the flip phone i had before. All in all, this phone was a terrible decision. Its now March of 2013, and I am stealing my mom's upgrade to get the iPhone 5. Please, don't make the mistake I made. Get and iPhone or a GS III.

Pros: SCREEN CAMERA BATTERY LIFE AND THE SIGHTNAL. can talk and surff at the same time.

This is the mpst underated phone. cnet have done a horrible review with this phone they failed to mention that this phone can talk and surrf at the same time over 3g. (AT&t thing)
When it comes to my phones, I dont settel, and i also listen to and look at the less, and the more importain things.
First off calling on this phone is great not i do at sometimes hear a echo in the background (but no all the time)
2nd 3g/4g speeds and roaming 3g for the most part is slow but thats with what every sprint phone i got. 0.95 mbs at best verizon iphone speeds. With this phone you can talk and surff at the same time over 3g and 4g and wifi. 4g was great but standing next to my friend with the droid razer and the lg spectum it helded it own(but lost).
roaming with sprint is so badd it makes no sence, speeds can get up to 0.02 mbs up, to 22kbs up to 40kbs dwn. with roaming with sprint it dont matter what phone you get when your roaming and on the internet when someone calls you it sent the call striaght to voicemail. WITH EVERY SPRINT PHONE NOT JUST THIS ONE.

battery last a pretty long time but it not long enough. I have the samsung galaxy nexus and the bettery life suchs and sighnal. i call lg and sprint about ics but THEY DONT HAVE AND UPDATE for it yet and they dont have and update for the lg lucid or the lg spectrum yet. i hate the lg platfrom and they dident even think to add the lg ul to this phone.BUT THIS IS A VERY GOOD PPHONE

Pros: A steal for $O. now @ Sprint. This phone has all the capabilities of The I phone 4 S, and the top of the line Samsung,+ HTC phones Sprint is offering at $199.

Summary: Excellent phone for any price. However it's now a Free item @ Sprint.I upgraded mine form the 8 g storage to a 32G storage for less than $15 /Amazon.com , and also upgraded my battery /Amazon for a reasonable price to assure the longer life and fun to optimize the usage of my music, and downloads I enjoy. Overall The Viper to me is a nicer phone than the Evo 4g I had this past year.

I would recommend this phone over Evo,4 GLTE, or the Galaxy III 4G LTE for now. Simply because the 4G isn't in my area for another year, so why waste your money when The LG Viper can do what the competition can for a lot less.
