The good: The Motorola Flipside has a trackpad, a good keyboard, and up to 32GB of expandable memory. In a nod to business professionals, it also supports corporate e-mail through Microsoft Exchange. We appreciate the camera's post-production editing options.
The bad: It's heavy and bulky, and the Flipside's microSD card is inconveniently placed behind the back cover. The Android smartphone is hobbled by poor call quality.
The bottom line: Despite its uninspired look and feel, the Motorola Flipside has a well-rounded feature set that balances a socializing agenda with corporate e-mail. That is, if you can look past the troublesome call quality.

Summary: When I first bought this phone I loved it. After a few months it started sucking now it totally sucks. Some of the problems are: there is no memory so you can't utilize the phone and the apps; when charging you can't use the phone to even check a text message; when talking on the phone, if your cheek hits the screen it disconnects or it will take you to the dial screen and hit a number then freeze (the person on the other end love that) and, worst of all, the phone freaks out, when going to check a message or make a call it will go to a different screen then starts selecting things without touching anything and the only way to get out of it is turning the phone off. Shame on Motorola for making such a crappy device and the cell phone carrier for carrying it. I will NEVER buy another Motorola product and after my contract my cell phone company is gone too (after numerous terrible phones & terrible service I am done!).

Pros: It hasn't literally brought death upon me yet, I can still use my eyes, it hasn't single-handedly brought upon the "End time". That's about it
Cons: It never works when I need it to. It always glitches. I have to restart it multiple times a day to get it to work. As we speak, I have taken the battery out to send a text message. NOTHING WORKS AS ADVERTISED.
Summary: I have had a phone literally burst into flames in front of my very eyes. Generally, I have had bad luck with phones, but nothing compares to the monstrosity that ...
Summary: I have had a phone literally burst into flames in front of my very eyes. Generally, I have had bad luck with phones, but nothing compares to the monstrosity that is the Motorola Flipside. The Wifi is rudimentary, it doesn't download the app store, the touch screen is ****, and it always glitches. Death to the makers of this phone.

Worst mistake of my life: Buying this phone

Summary: The list of cons is endless. To start, when you make calls if you touch the phone with your cheek, it either hangs up the call, puts the phone on mute so the person you're talking to can't hear you, or puts the call on speaker. This phone is also insanely slow and it freezes alot. The largest issue I had with this phone was the spazzing of the screen. It will start doing it out of nowhere. I click one thing, and the screen starts clicking a thousand different things and twitching. You can't stop this unless you turn off the phone and restart it. When turning the phone back on, it takes about 2 whole minutes to start up. The "trackpad" (large button in the middle) does absoloutly nothing and is completely unneccessary. There is also barely any storage area on the phone and always tells me I need more space. The camera sucks too. Another problem I have is sometimes for no reason, the internet and any apps that require internet won't work for like two days. Battery life sucks too. The phone will die in less then 24 hours if not charged, even if not in use. Also, almost all of the apps that come with the phone aren't even anything you would actually use.
Don't get this phone. Your life will suck if you do. After 6 months of having it, the phone just completely broke and was unuseable. I went to AT&T with this problem and they sent me a new phone. Guess what? Another "LOVELY" Motorola Flipside. This one worked for about 24 hours before I started seeing some problems. After 1 month of having this one, all the same problems are back, besides the screen spazzing (THANK GOD!) Guess what else? AT&T refuse to replace this phone because I have gotten my phone replaced two times in the past year (a Motorola Backflip and a Motorola Flipside, which both stopped working due to numerous problems) and they say they won't replace anymore phones since I have replaced too many, so I'm stuck with this worthless piece of ****, even though it's completely their fault for sending me **** phones. I honestly don't understand why AT&T hasn't recalled this **** phone and continues to sell and replace it, even though they KNOW of all these problems. I've talked to other people who've had this phone and they all have had the same problems. DON'T BUY THIS PHONE!!

Cons: Everything. No memeory so you can't use any of the apps. Call quality is poor. Mosst expensive paper weight I ever bought.

Pros: It's an Android phone. Android is pretty awesome. Too bad this phone did a horrible job of implementing it.
Cons: Everything else.
Camera sucks. Phone locks up, battery life is short, keyboard is crap, big square button doesn't actually do anything, and worst of all, the guys that sold it to me, AT&T don't even care.

Summary: In the first week I had it, it had a memory leak, had to root the phone and fix it on my own because AT&T refused to believe there was a problem.
The camera BLOWS. It's not even good enough to read QR codes. How could Motorola release a phone that is that awful?
Almost no storage. Want to play Angry Birds? Too bad, not enough storage for games.
It overheats when you use the GPS. Phone becomes unusable after an hour.
It quit working completely after 9 months. It no longer receives calls, which is fine, because the battery doesn't even last long enough to make a call anymore.

Summary: i got this phone last december and within two months i was miserable. lately it has been pressing the w button nonstop and i cant delete them. the w and the e on my keyboard dont work as well as its inability to load within five minutes. the battery life is worthless. i went to work with 100% battery. it sat in a locker for four hours on batter saver mode and when i came back it had 5% left. that same day i blew a tire and tried to call for help. too bad my phone died in mid conversation and my parents got the lovely job of searching for me at 8 o'clock at night. not only is this phone unreliable and incredibly stupid, it never has enough storage space, my alarm never works, and the way you save contacts is a stupid. all of your contacts save to your phone, never your sim and when you try to put them on your sim and they are also linked to fb, they wont save.
have fun if you feel like buying a useless piece of metal and plastic

Summary: I have owned this phone for eight months now. The first few months it worked fine for the most part, but the battery sucked. I got a new battery but it still sucked. Frequently I would have it in my pocket fully charged, and then I would feel it heating up. I would be burning a hole through my pants and after an hour of being really warm I would check it and the battery would be down to 15%. I continue to have this issue. Storage is an issue, obviously. I have very few apps and yet I still get reminded that I nee to delete some to make space for others.Another thing that has always been an issue is how slow it is after you turn it on. Once it turns on, if I want to use text messaging, I have to clock on the app, and then wait for at least five minutes for all the messages to load. I just LOVE that little spinning "loading" circle that never seems to end. In the most recent months, I have had issues where it thinks I am touching something or moving an app around when I am not, and to fix this I try pressing the lock button a few times, which sometimes works. Similarly, it will call people because it thinks I pressed on them when I am not even touching the screen at all. In the past week, the glitching has been terrible. The scree will freeze in one place and the only way to fix it is to take the battery out and put it back in again. However, as it takes a while to load everything after turning it off and on, this is time consuming. This was working for a while until yesterday when I turned my phone back on and the screen became totally pixelated an multicolored, the way a TV screen looks when it has no input. Sometimes when this happened, if I waited, it would go back to the regular screen. Most of the time it didn't, and as a result I would take the battery out once more. Finally this morning it got to the point where the phone was unusable, so I called ATT. After going through a series of questions they finally determined that I need a new phone, and I will be getting a replacement in about a week. I would be a little more pleased with this if it weren't for the fact that the phone I am getting will STILL be a Flipside, and therefore it will still suck. Since as I type this my phone screen is entirely pixelated and unusable, it means that for the next week, I will essentially be without a phone. Congrats, Motorolla, you outdid yourself this time.
