The good: The Nokia Lumia 800 has a singular design, a stunning display, and a nice driving console in Nokia Drive.
The bad: Camera and video quality on the Lumia 800 is poor, despite the fancy specs. A front-facing camera would make the phone more competitive. The Micro-SIM slot is hard to access.
The bottom line: The unlocked Nokia Lumia 800 has an innovative design and gorgeous screen, but the poor camera quality and lack of a front-facing camera are major detractions.

Summary: I had ordered an iPhone 4S as a replacement phone for my iPhone 4. My service provider took too long to replace my phone, so I considered other smartphones. This phone had just been released in my country. I expected a good device with the likes of Nokia and Microsoft involved with it, but I could never have expected this device. The Nokia Lumia 800 is truly a great device which I believe will persuade many iPhone users, like myself, to change sides. The relatively limited applications associated with Windows Phone 7.5 is a downer, but hopefully it is temporary.

Summary: Finally! Nokia is back. I use to love Nokia and used them faithfully ever since the N95. My last Nokia phone was the N900 Maemo device but I gave up on it months after purchase. The hardware was bulky and developer support was lacking. Jumped to Android after that and now recently bought my first iPhone (4s). I will say I love my iPhone and can't say I will give it up anytime soon. Apple has won me over. I would love to have the beautiful, almighty Lumia 800 but after purchasing the iPhone 4s I doubt that I will be looking for my next device any time soon. I love you Nokia but you should of announced and sold this a month or 2 ago. Keep it up though.

Pros: Social networking works fine. The kids who want to do lots of networking on fb, etc will like this phone better than its predecessors. Better than I-phone at you-tube!
Cons: For business operators, it is not smooth or fluid like other competitors now. Not up to par performance in swiping! Nokia generally have poor trade-ind when wanting to upgrade.

Pros: The great thing about the Lumia 800 is that we can,, erm, "review" it before we've even touched it. Another thing is the alleged screen, and of course the design.
Cons: What's there to not like?! I haven't even seen it with my own eyes, so how can I give any "negative" reviews. For that matter, how can I give a "positive" review? I don't know, but CNET lets me!! ;-)

Behind on specs with an unproven OS -beautiful hardware

Pros: Nice looking phone. Audio playback better than most other manufacturers, but not as good as iPhone. Love the industrial design and scratch proof case.
Cons: Windows 7.5 willbe hard to accept by most users except for experimenters. For a 3.7" screen, I prefer the retina display. No dual core could trouble even the experimenter crowd. The camera is ok, but not as good as Apple.
