The good: AT&T's Nokia Lumia 820 offers Windows Phone 8, 4G LTE, and a terrifically low subsidized price.
The bad: This Lumia is heavy, a little slippery, and has a short battery life. Data speeds were variable.
The bottom line: If you're looking for an inexpensive, approachable smartphone with a few more features, the Nokia Lumia 820's price tag is tough to beat.
Pros: Feature rich, slim, lightweight (less than the iPhone I had). Wonderful sync with laptop and Win 8 desktop. Not problems or error messages since purchase in Dec 2012.
Cons: Battery life could be better.
Summary: Love this phone. Have recommended to friends/family.
Summary: Love this phone. Have recommended to friends/family.
Pros: This phone gets the basics right. Texting is easy. Phonebook easily organizes your data in one spot. Call quality is good. Start screen with live tiles is good looking and interesting. Internet browsing is satisfactory and plenty of basic apps.
Cons: I bought this phone for the 64gb card slot. I wanted room for songs and pictures to interact with Facebook and be entertained on my long commute. Half of my pictures can't leave the phone and half of my music won't play. Error messages aren't helpful
Summary: Don't buy the phone. It's pretty and will tempt you. But it is inconsistent. I'm very frustrated as to why some pictures I take can be attached ...
Summary: Don't buy the phone. It's pretty and will tempt you. But it is inconsistent. I'm very frustrated as to why some pictures I take can be attached to emails or uploaded onto SkyDrive and the others cannot leave the phone. I'm very frustrated about why some music I've downloaded from Xbox music marketplace will play on the phone and other times it will simply error out. It seems to me that Nokia or Windows Phone 8 doesn't have everything figured out just yet. I would suggest giving them a couple more years. They also need to work on their support for these products. Their websites don't have answers. They don't have customer service representatives who can be called and talked to. In the end you have this feeling that you've locked into a two year contract with a phone that will let you down when you most want it to work. Like tonight I a cool picture and the funniest comment about it and the picture wouldn't upload, attach, or send. Now I have this awesome picture that I can only share with myself. This is not the reason why I signed for a data plan. Avoid this phone.
Description:With smart shoot, just one click of the camera takes a whole series of photos. Then merge them into one, so everyone in the group looks their best. Eyes open, big smiles, perfect shot.
