Nokia Lumia 900 - black (AT&T) price range: $0.01 - $399.99

The good: The Nokia Lumia 900's eye-popping unibody design sets a new direction for smartphone style. Its LTE speeds, vivid 4.3-inch screen, and 8-megapixel camera are high points.
The bad: Problems with call quality and minor design flaws like some gaps in the construction and weirdly placed buttons get in the way. The designer camera optics are good, but they don't live up to the hype. The phone shoots 720p video rather than 1080p video.
The bottom line: The Nokia Lumia 900's unique design and high-end features make Windows Phone look fantastic, and the $99 price is extremely fair. Despite some flaws, this is my favorite Windows Phone yet.

Summary: C'mon. We all know by now that the resolution is equivalent to screens from 2008-2009. This is just sad. The only reason why it got an excellent rating is that CNET fears favoring one OS over another. I say the OS is great, but this is just pathetic. Some might claim "you can't tell the difference" but that suggestion is laughable. Yes you most definitely can. I played with this phone, pulled up Facebook, and every picture looked terrible. Pics shot with the camera don't even show up right, the camera is better than what the screen can support. Maybe Windows 8 mobile will support higher resolutions, but until then... AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
No HD screen equals pathetic. There is no arguing this point. How many people stream HD video over 4G/LTE? I certainly do. I want to actually utilize this capability. I'm sure that Microsoft will eventually release Windows 8 phones and they will be nice, but people shouldn't lock themselves into a contract with this phone when better options are available right now and even MS will have better ones in the near future.

"nowhere close to Apple or Android"

Summary: I work for AT&T and have had the chance to use this phone for the last 3 days and I can not wait to go back to my iPhone! Keep in mind everyone that the iPhone 4 is $99 and I would choose that over this any day!

Gives Me a Headache
by delraydoc on April 4, 2012
Pros: 1) Lightweight aluminum body; 2) Cost me only one penny
Cons: 1) Dated design looks like a teen phone; 2) Pages run off the screen and gives me a migraine headache - always need to scroll right / left; 3) Limited apps /ecosystem - all my critical apps are not available; 4) No iTunes
Summary: People laugh at me when I walk in the room with this children's / teen styled phone; they have a hard time taking me seriously. My friends think it is ...
Summary: People laugh at me when I walk in the room with this children's / teen styled phone; they have a hard time taking me seriously. My friends think it is a joke. Even in when I am meetings in Europe, my colleagues ridicule me. I would give the Nokia Lumina it zero stars, but I kind of like the way that they copied the looks of the iPod Nano (5th Generation). I will sell this phone soon and go back to my tried and true iPhone 4S.
