Nokia Lumia 920 price range: $99.99 - $449.99

The good: The Nokia Lumia 920 forges new Windows Phone ground with wireless charging support and a highly sensitive screen you can use with gloves. Moreover, Nokia helps fill in Windows Phone OS gaps with a few missing features.
The bad: A thick, heavy build and slippery finish for some colors make the Lumia 920 harder to hold and carry, and the phone's overhyped camera doesn't have enough settings.
The bottom line: Nokia's Lumia 920 is heavy and thick, but if you want the most powerful, feature-rich Windows phone available, this is it.

The best hardware with the cleanest OS
by Rocky_Bullwinkle on March 6, 2013
Pros: This phone feels like pure quality in your hand. From the unibody, CNC machined shell to the ceramic buttons and camera plate.
The camera is the best I've seen with a great selection of features.
The OS is simple, smart and minimalistCons: Camera button is a little stiff and requires firmly holding it down for a little to long to capture a shot. But you can just tap the screen for quick pics.

Summary: People don't know much about this is due to the sales man from the store don't know either the capabilities of the phone. Windows 8 and office intergration with the phone exchange and now that more apps are available is the phone to get. others like android and apple has 1000's or more apps but they are not quality apps or 12 to 20 apps of the same. Don't get me wrong but is the true.

So far I love it!
by idahoann on March 4, 2013
Pros: Quality of phone; data storage size, call quality, upgrade from 7.5 to 8 and free Nokia apps. So far also getting very good battery life but need more time to confirm. Wireless charger works fast.
Cons: Wish it was 1" shorter like my HD7 and Speck made pixelskin rubber case used. Blue tooth car connect a bit temperamental. Wish there were a couple more traditional ring choices, wall plug prongs not retractable, and charging plate cord design silly.

Summary: I have had about a week so will update once I become familiar with all the features. Coming from the HD7, I like the weight of the phone and size - only take my tablet out for e-mail when travel and I can find in my purse :) I am rating now so that those of you considering buying this phone will know that there have been no freezes or battery issues (probably caused because people leave their wireless and/or Bluetooth apps on all the time). Happy with call quality as this is still the number one purpose of my phone with web/EM second and texting only under duress when responding : ) PS Amazon's Diztronic Matte Back Black Flexible Case for $6 is best option other than $Speck hard shell which is $25 online (not all colors) and $38 at AT&T store.

I just love it.
by moilate on February 12, 2013
Pros: Extremely easy to use, fantastic camera, manages MS Excel & ppt well and looks good.
Cons: Cant think of any. Well, battery could last longer. Before getting 920 I was a bit sceptic about its size (is it too big), but have found it just perfect.
Summary: It is definitely the best phone I've had. I find my self feeling somekind of weird love beyond reason.

Summary: Great phone and very useful productivity tool. I use the phone extensively for work. The screen size enables easy edit of powerpoints, excel worksheets or word documents easy. Skydrive integration is quite good.
The E-Mail interface and inbox Intergration are simple, elegant and easy to use.
Quite impressed with People hub - specifically the Rooms. I now have set up multiple rooms - for family / work etc and I can share / collaborate with the room members (other WP8 users) for appointments, messages etc. Now I dont have to worry about maintaining multiple calendars.
Nokia Drive - I have now used this in 7 countries without paying anything - not for the app, not for data data roaming. Also GPS seems to position quite fast. Nokia transit and Nokia maps are quite good as well.
Lastly, it s great phone. Very good call quality and picks up signal well. Battery is adequate.
Overall, a good buy, -

Potentially great phone undone by abysmal battery life

Summary: I am writing this review today to express my dissatisfaction with the Lumia 920. I have purchased this device on two occasions and both times I have encountered the same issue. The first time I purchased it was second hand and it was one of the first few released in Canada (came factory unlocked and all). Although the camera was amazing, the build was excellent and the exclusive apps were fantastic (Nokia Maps and Drive to be precise) the battery life was abysmal. Despite multiple factory resets and even attempting to run it without additional apps I could get only 6 hours of usage on average which is unacceptable. I quickly sold it on Kijiji. After a few days I had convinced myself that it must have been just pre-release model glitches (I had owned a #Lumia800 previously and had no such issues). Being without a phone and unable to get my hands on an actual release model from Rogers, I ended up going with a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (and have been very satisfied with it). Up until the Lumia line I have been an Android user for the last few years now and am accustom to 12-15 hours at least. Before Android came out I was a windows mobile user having owned numerous models but my first ever phone was a Nokia 3300. At the time this the 3300 was to me such an innovative phone, stylish, different and one of the first phones to support MP3 playback. It was my fond memories of my 3300 that prompted me to try the Lumia 800 and eventually the 920 a second time because to me they embodied those same qualities. I purchased my second Lumia 920 on Wednesday the 16th and returned it the next evening. Once again I could get no more than 6 hrs of battery life. I am aware of the battery saving option in the phone and despite not believing that one should essentially cripple their device to get functional use, I attempted using the phone with it on and gained possibly an hour. I am now happily using my Galaxy Note 2 and getting on average 20 hrs of use out of it. Although I would not expect such use out of the Lumia 920 considering the battery size difference, I would expect at least the 12-15 hours of battery life phones in it's league manage.
This experience has tainted my opinion of the Nokia Lumia line and will likely affect my opinion in choosing my future smartphone.
It is with all sincerity that I write this in the hopes that Nokia takes this kind of feedback seriously and will make the necessary changes in their future iterations of the Lumia line as it currently is not a phone I could recommend. -
Very nice phone, but....

Summary: Having had a 920 for several months now, I have to comment. It is indeed a very nice phone, even if a bit thick and heavy. I like Windows Phone 8, too.
But, I find the battery life is quite poor....it often starts warning me by late afternoon, even though I really don't use it all that much (no more than past smart phones that had apparently better battery life). Battery Saver mode only kicks in when the battery is low, so Airplane Mode is really the only way to extend it. Ugh.
Also, I find the Blue Tooth operation can be a problem, especially in my car. Every time, when I get in my car, it says it is linked to the phone, but the first call NEVER goes through properly....the other end can hear, but I don't hear a ring or any voice. The second call ALWAYS works fine. Past phones worked fine. I hope Nokia can improve on this.
