The good: The Samsung Admire has a simple, straightforward design with enough features to keep you busy and entertained. We appreciate the support for the Gingerbread OS and the access to MetroPCS' new Rhapsody Unlimited Music service.
The bad: The Samsung Admire had variable call quality with low volume and occasional audio cutouts. We had problems with the speakerphone in particular.
The bottom line: The Samsung Admire offers the accessible design and functional feature set that you'd expect from a starter Android phone, but call quality wasn't up to our standards.

Pretty nice, fast phone with a good touchscreen.
by toaka on November 21, 2011
Pros: Camera with auto-focus; sensitive touchscreen; 800 MHz processor; nicely-sized screen; very comfortable in my hands, regardless of their tiny size; fits iPod earphones; 2.3 gingerbread; gorilla glass; SD slot + camera button on the side of the phone
Cons: No flash; touchscreen sometimes acts a bit weird; no phone button on the bottom; call quality is iffy
Summary: An all-around good phone. It's definitely 100 times better than the Huawei M835 for only $20/$40 more. I plan on using it until it dies. The size is ...

Pros: Though I don't like the Metro internet speed, I love to use mt phone at home with my 5G Optimum boost speed. Cheap and good. The best for the price.Fairly good space, great in weight and the OS is amazing. Also, it comes with good and useful apps included
Cons: The speed of Metro PCS wireless WiFi and the poor volume quality of on call volume. Also, camera is not too good.

If you're looking for an inexpensive yet decent smart phone from Metro PCS, I'd recommend this over the ZTE Score or Huawei M835, primarily because out of those it has the fastest processor.
