The good: The Samsung Conquer 4G is affordable and offers 4G capabilities. The Android 2.3 Gingerbread device also has a next-gen 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a front-facing camera for video calls, and mobile hot-spot capabilities.
The bad: The smartphone has a lower-resolution display. Camera and speakerphone quality could be better.
The bottom line: Though you sacrifice some higher-end features, the Samsung Conquer 4G gives Sprint customers a solid 4G smartphone at an affordable price.

Overall Great Phone!! Battery life could be better.
by SaraLeanne22 on September 21, 2011
Pros: Overall great phone! I'm not in the 4G area but 3G is still super fast, no long periods of waiting time on media or apps. Front facing camera is a great improvement. Ringtones and media is nice and loud, and video/app quality 5/5 rating.
Cons: Battery Life is the only issue I have with this phone. I have never had an android before and I hear the battery life isn't that great on these kinds of phones, but I don't know about this one?? The battery life only lasts 13 hrs of basic use (calling n

The Samsung Conquer would be my first android phone, I have never had an android before, but from what I've seen, it is a pretty good phone. The video quality and media is great, I haven't had any problems out of it yet. The front/back facing camera is great - the flash quality could take better pics though. Battery life could be better, I am used to flip phones with battery life that would last up to 4 days before needing a charge so this phone only lasting me 13 hrs (basic use) at a time, could take some getting-used-too. This model is small yet sturdy, I have dropped it a couple times on concrete-asphalt the screen is still fine and the phone still works great, so it looks like it could take some damage without screwing up which is a plus for those who are like me and throw their phone when they get angry with someone/something.
For those who prefer long battery life that can last a couple days, I do not recommend this phone!
But for those who love media, internet and some app use, this would be a good phone for you!
I'm still trying to get used to it, so I can't make to many complaints as of yet.
I hope this is of great use to you.

Great cheap 4G Phone

Pros: Size
Fast Processor
Android 2.3.4

Summary: I love this phone and I feel the only reason Sprint isn't blowing up the sales for it is because the Price is in line with other older phones that people still want such as EVO and Nexus S. This phone is super fast and runs all the apps I ask it too and then ask for more. For those who say the battery life is bad I would say that you are not used to Android phones as it is in line with all the other ones I have used before. Personally I feel that this is one of Sprints best phones and if you don't want the HUGHE phone like EVO and EPICs but want the same specs this is the phone for you.

Pros: it has a good sized screen and it's easy to type on. i love the camera on the front and the built-in effects.
Cons: very low battery life. if you like a lot of apps, i dont suggest this phone because too many apps will cause the phone to break down

It performs well and is light weight and small in size.

Pros: Small in size and light weight. Good battery and also it's durable and not as fragile as the bigger phones.

Summary: I have gone through several different cell phones from Sprint since the renewal of my contract and was just about ready to give up. I am glad to say I'm very happy with the Samsung CONQUER 4G. I was a little skeptical of its performance because of its size and weight but to my surprise it works beautifully and is actually a little more durable then the bigger phones. I feel it is a very nice size. It is not heavy or bulky and can very easily fit in your pocket. The power button is located on the top which I find to be a good feature instead of on the side and the charger button is on the bottom of the phone which makes it easier to talk while being charged if necessary. The battery lasts a lot longer than the bigger phones. The memory card could be located in a more convenient spot but the performance is good so far. It's a nice middle of the road phone. Good job Samsung! Someone is finally thinking about what some of the consumers might prefer.

Not the best.
by malloramaxD on July 31, 2012
Pros: Good for calls and texts. Easy to use keyboard, also has talk-to-text.
Cons: Very, very, very slow. I don't have a lot of apps, and I delete my messages and the rest of my history all the time, but it still runs slow. There are times where I can't even unlock my phone because it freezes or just won't respond.
Summary: Good for the price, but you get what you pay for.
