The good: The Samsung Dart has a slim and compact design. It ships with Android 2.2, and the TouchWiz UI is easy to use. Features include GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, mobile hot-spot capabilities, and the ability to make calls over Wi-Fi. It's also very affordable.
The bad: The Samsung Dart's screen is on the small side, with a rather poor resolution.
The bottom line: The Samsung Dart is a decent entry-level phone for T-Mobile, but there are better options out there.

Don't waste your money.
Pros: Good design, easy to use, does basic phone functions.
Cons: Overpriced, limited selection of apps, HORRIBLE internal storage space, slow, poor signal quality.

Summary: If you're looking for a reliable starter phone, then this is the one to get. Otherwise, this phone is terrible. I honestly think that this phone is way too expensive for what you're getting out of it. I've been using it as a serious smart phone for about a year, and when I'm not fighting it's poor signal quality or short battery life, I'm dealing with the device's poor internal storage space or frequent (and sometimes random) crashes and self-resetting. Not to mention its serious lag issues. So do yourself a favor if you're planning on buying this phone...and don't. It'll save yourself a lot of time and sanity.

A reliable smartphone for its price
by j300ny on September 23, 2012
Pros: Not hard to use and reliable. Size is ok, not too big, not too small. Has all the features of your typical smart phone.
Cons: 1. I do not know, as I can't find a way, to use the front camera. So I am assuming it does not have one?
2. No flash on the camera

Summary: For the price and the quality, it is a decent smartphone to have. Has googleplay so you can buy apps...although I feel the phone memory is not enough for a heavy app user like me. Recently, it has been giving me trouble with being able to receive but not send messages (I have to keep turning on/off airplane mode to reset network). Everything else works fine. It is not a bad phone to have if you are on the cheap side, esp. if you are using a prepaid program (although that nokia lumia is available now for prepaid, but for more money).

Pros: This phone is a jack of all trades, the speakers are loud and the screen is clear, also it's for a great price.
Cons: The battery does only last about 2 days, but it charges really quickly
Summary: I have the Canadian version of this phone, so that might explain how I like mine more than the Americans

This phone may have glitches
by ReviewerReady on November 12, 2011
Pros: Decent size, pretty self explanatory options on the phone. Cute icons. Like "some" of the touch screen features like swiping but not for texting or dialing.
Cons: I noticed this phone has a couple of issues that I can't seem to get to work out. First, I added numbers to my one-touch dialing but when you are in another window or application and hit back too many times, it also undoes the one-touch dialing settings.
Summary: I would 85% not recommend this phone. I hope it's only my phone that has issues and not the entire assembly line of them.

Can't forward AIM texting because it only receives, can't reply back to sender. Phone just turned off and on by itself today.

I call T-mobile, they did a Master Reset and it's the same problem. I went back to T-mobile because the phoe not working properly, they told its a restocking fee of fifty dollars. My advice to you is to walk far away from this Piece of crap phone.I have to constantly taking the battery out average times per day. This is no joke.

It's the android phone that anyone can afford
by pooraudiophile on July 9, 2011
Pros: With android 2.2 Droid Does! In my opinion any android phone is better than the Iphone. Google really knows how to make an OS. Other than an awesome OS the phone sucks a little.
Cons: The 3.0 mp camera won't focus. when listening to music on headphones the sound is bland.

Summary: A few years ago if you walked into a cell phone store and told them you want a smartphone for free they would tell you to stop doing drugs. It isn't the best android phone available but for the low price of free it might as well be. I jokingly tell everyone that my phone is a spaceship because I'm still amazed by all that it can do. Google has changed the world for the better with such technology.
