The good: The Samsung Exhibit 4G is a fast, comfortable Android 2.3 Gingerbread handset with two cameras and a 1GHz processor.
The bad: The Exhibit lacks a camera shutter button and the virtual keyboard will feel cramped for some. A lag in the camera software caused us to miss some good shots.
The bottom line: A great price makes the Samsung Exhibit 4G a compelling option for Android fans on the lookout for a deal, without sacrificing features.

Good value but Android has too many bugs
by MPerdueNYC on February 16, 2012
Pros: For the price, you can't beat it. It has the latest version of Android, which is a big improvement from the LG G1 that I used to have. Android has a nice way of looking at phrases in your emails to help you make appointments, and other nice features
Cons: Android seems really buggy and inconsistent. It has no way to easily exit programs, which they claim doesn't affect battery or performance but it does. My phone starts to stall. The battery is terrible. It can be hard to type corrections in emails

Summary: Because of the price, it's the best value out there for Android phones. I am on my second Android phone and I find it to be extremely buggy to the point that it drives me nuts. The battery life is absolutely miserable. Unless you barely use the phone, you will run out in the middle of the day. I am not playing games and watching movies. The email sends 5 copies of the same message frequently to someone and there are tons of things that don't work properly. Thanks for testing this so thoroughly, Google!

Great feature set, great price, as well as quality.
by lilmig on July 7, 2011
Pros: AMO-LED display 480 x 800 very crisp and clear, 1Ghz Processor (Very snappy performance), Pocketable, Front-facing camera, Flash on the rear camera, 4G HSPA+ 21 Megabits per-second support (Theoretical).
Cons: The ambient light sensor isn't too great, meaning if you're outdoors in direct sunlight, your screen is very difficult to see (almost impossible). Screen is a little on the smaller size. Battery life is so so but it really depends on your usage and turnin
Summary: Overall this phone is a great value. It has a great feature set that phones twice its price have, The build quality of the device is very nice, Samsung has ...
Summary: Overall this phone is a great value. It has a great feature set that phones twice its price have, The build quality of the device is very nice, Samsung has definitely stepped their game up on their hardware. Phone is pocketable, great resolution display, has Android 2.3 Gingerbread (latest release). I have no major complaints about this phone, at 80 bucks with a two year contract it's a steal, if you're looking for an Android phone with up to date features without breaking your pocket definitely check out the Exhibit 4G.

Not a good buy. Kicks you out frequently
by carolynthelibrrian on March 6, 2013
Pros: Price, but that's debatable. No barbain.
Cons: Mail is clunky - not a good phone for emergency use. Freezes, scroll doesn't work well at all l- either too fast, or will fail to go to top of scroll bar.
Summary: Save yourself some time and trouble - get a better phone.

This is the worst phone I have ever owned.

Summary: This is the worst phone I have ever owned. I have had many phones over the years and this is absolutely the worst. We went with T-Mobile because we want to keep costs down with data/voice/text with 4G. I have 4 lines with T-Mobile on the value plan. Unfortunately this phone is so bad it is to the point of being dangerous. It kicks us out of texting, dialing, etc. If we were in an emergency, we would be screwed. All 3 phones exhibit this behavior. I am willing to pay $200 per line early termination. That is $800! Well, it makes more financial sense since we cannot live with these phones but because we are on the value plan, we are not eligible for phone upgrades. It would be cheaper for me to go to Verizon or ATT and pay $10 a month more per line but get free phones or Galaxy S2 for $50 each. If I want Galaxy S2 or any other phone, I am looking at $500 per line. That is $2000 so it makes more sense to pay early termination.... So sorry we got these phones. The 4th phone is a Black Berry which is crap.

Nothing special, just OK.
by ricksquires on November 1, 2011
Pros: No pros to speak of.
Cons: I bought it through T-Mobile who has the worst customer service on earth. And the phone freezes about once a week and I need to take the battery out to reset it.

Summary: This is a great phone with a wide feature set. It has snappy performance and very nice screen. Screen size is fine at 3.5 inches makes it more pocketable. Samsung has not over customized the phone but has added some nice widgets that are helpful. I have had mine for 2 weeks and realy enjoyed it. With the many apps on the Android platform I have so many functions with this phone and the 1ghz processor runs them well.
