The good: The prepaid Samsung Galaxy Admire 4G features a compact build, 4G LTE, and plenty of photo-editing options.
The bad: Running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the Admire 4G feels dated right out of the box. It also has a low-resolution screen.
The bottom line: The Samsung Galaxy Admire 4G is a dependable handset in its own right, but it just can't top the cheaper, faster, Android 4.0 LG Motion 4G.
Cons: Unable to turn off data, 2.3.6 Gingerbread, Camera Lag, Sluggish at times, and price range.

Summary: You'd think that Samsung wouldn't disappoint on their "Galaxy" lineup, but this sure did. I've had this phone for about 2 and a half months and i'm starting to regret that I chose this over the LG Motion. Although this phone is very appealing. The few things I liked about this phone was the design, weight, and feel. The front facing camera was pretty good for a 1.3 megapixel. The rear 3.2 megapixel took good pictures as well if the lighting was good and auto-focused well enough. The lag to snap a picture was the only downfall about it which took about 2 seconds. Of course one of the biggest disappointments was the 2.3.6 Gingerbread and I doubt this will have an ice cream sandwich update even though Samsung has released devices lower than a 1GHz processor with 4.0. Speaking of the processor, you'd think 1Ghz would be fairly fast, but at times it would be sluggish. The display isn't very well itself as well. Another disappointment is not having the option to turn off the data as well. So your stuck having it always on unless you're using WIFI. The way around it is downloading the "Data Enabler Widget" which lets you turn it off. This phone isn't worth the $150 at all and shouldn't even be a competition between this and the Motion. I'd say buy this if its discounted to $100. Other than that, choose the LG Motion.
Summary: This is a good phone for someone who is looking for a decent android at a decent price. It is fairly quick and easy to use. I use an iPad also so I don't use the internet browser on this phone, but sometimes the wi-fi, which hasn't given me any troubles. All in all i rate 4 stars, would be 5 but the clock thing was an inconvenience, but it may just have been a glitch on my phone.

Summary: So sad Samsung I thought you were better than this. The only thing worse than the call quality is Metro PCS's "customer service." I tried to use this phone to start a contract with Metro but after many attempts trying to call them (while in the middle of a city that is supposed to have excellent coverage) I could not activate the phone. The calls were either to broken up to hear the person or the volume (even turned all the way up) was to low for me to hear the other person and they could barely hear me. To make matters worse Metro has no exchange policy. I discovered this after being sent to their corporate store to be talked down to by the manager where they sent me to the web address that was on the receipt of my online order. That website did not exist either. I finally I was allowed to talk to their internet department who told me there was no exchange policy but they would have a customer service agent call me back. After 3 days they have not even done this. In summary stay away from Metro but more importantly don't waste your money on this phone! Samsung should be ashamed they normally put out quality products.
Bottom Line:The Samsung Galaxy Admire 4G is a dependable handset in its own right, but it just can't top the cheaper, faster, Android 4.0 LG Motion 4G.
