The good: The Samsung Galaxy S3 comes fully loaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 4G LTE/HSPA+ 42 capability, a zippy dual-core processor, and a strong 8-megapixel camera. S Beam is an excellent software enhancement, and the handset's price is right.
The bad: The Galaxy S3's screen is too dim, and Samsung's Siri competitor, S Voice, disappointed.
The bottom line: Pumped with high-performing hardware and creative software features, the Samsung Galaxy S3 is an excellent, top-end phone that's neck and neck with the HTC One X.

I smell a rat.

Pros: Awesome everything - except the glass.
Cons: Most expensive - and ironically - the most fragile phone I've ever owned.

Summary: Your screen will crack - almost guaranteed - on the first drop. Even if it's from a foot. Onto a wood floor. This phone was purposely made of the most fragile glass available to Samsung. I'm sure between samsung and T-Mobile there are millions of dollars being made from the inevitable repair claims.
It's absurd to sell a $500 and expect people to never drop it even once. For $500 it should be durable enough to survive reasonable drops.
Samsung should recall these phones and put glass that matches the premium price tag of these phones. At the current price you are being cheated. Samsung knows exactly what it is doing.0 out of 1 users found this user opinion helpful.

A plastic body.
by jignalpaghadar on March 8, 2013
Pros: some features are good.
Cons: A button for home screen.
you have to push button to go on home screen on every samsung device. In htc , you can do it by one touch only, no need to press any button.
It has plastic body, there for no feel at all on hand.Summary: I don't like s3 at all.

The first thing is the battery life its GREAT!
by mdforsyth on July 18, 2012
Pros: Battery Life, I can get through a whole work day on one charge (10 hours)I use it to tether and battery still stays strong, Screen is great to look at, great size and very clear. Great speed
Cons: S-voice needs some work would like to see a Siri type app on this device. Its keeps asking to connect to wifi even when wifi shut off, Only in blue or white on Verizon, just not a fan of the color choices.
Summary: On Verizon this is a great phone, screen size for using navagation is perfect, tethering works great, battery life is the best I have had in years on a smart ...
Summary: On Verizon this is a great phone, screen size for using navagation is perfect, tethering works great, battery life is the best I have had in years on a smart phone. I mostly use for navagation and email and this is the perfect phone. Like the microSD slot, put a 64GB in mine and have plenty of room for my music and work docs. If you need a device that will last the whole work day with heavy email and call use this is the device.

A very good phone by the look and sound of things.
by Zeelo7 on June 20, 2012
Pros: Screen size, HD, features.
Cons: Size, Sub-pixels.
Summary: I disagree with the comment that the S-voice is a Siri copy... The SGS2 had a similar app, albeit with lesser features, I would say Siri was copied from that ...
Summary: I disagree with the comment that the S-voice is a Siri copy... The SGS2 had a similar app, albeit with lesser features, I would say Siri was copied from that and got given a name. The S-voice is meant to improve on the old feature.
The comment about the screen visibility is subjective, brighter doesn't always translate to true. Under sunlight the Super AMOLED outperforms the others (GSM Arena scientific test).0 out of 1 users found this user opinion helpful.
