The good: The Samsung Illusion runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and has a decent 3-megapixel camera lens.
The bad: Some issues with call quality and the camera app mar the Illusion.
The bottom line: The Samsung Illusion is a wholly decent midrange smartphone that won't wow you, but mostly delivers. However, there are a few flaws.

Summary: Finally a fast entry level android phone. What the verizon market needed. I had issues with the Vortex and Citrus for not being as fast as they should with the processors that they had, had. Angry birds was hard to play on them, and the apps that should be fast on them honestly weren't. This device changed that. All apps are fast, and it acts as if it is a high end device like the Droid Charge. It is that good. I didn't play around with it much, so I can't go into exactly how good it is, but i think it is tons better than that Vortex.

terrible for e-mail

Pros: pretty to look at
Cons: had to revert back to my "old" phone to be able to bulk erase e-mail. My old phone allows for erasing by individual messages as well as by date.This phone allows you to tick the messages you want to erase. OK sometimes but not for 300+ messages.
