The good: The Samsung Replenish has Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a QWERTY keyboard, and a surprisingly decent 2-megapixel camera.
The bad: There's no Flash support in the browser, and the Replenish feels a bit cheap and cramped. In addition, the processor is a little laggy.
The bottom line: Keep in mind that the Samsung Replenish is an entry-level smartphone, and you may enjoy the Android handset's QWERTY keyboard and camera. If it's quick browsing you're after, keep looking.

Do not buy this phone. Advice from IT professional
by rrutland5 on February 15, 2012
Pros: There are zero pros
Cons: Everything
Summary: I never post on these forums but took the extra time to create a CNET account, to warn anyone who might be considering this phone. In short, get something else.

Summary: I have owned this phone less than a month and I have already sent it back to samsung once. Gettine ready to send it back again. The phone is stylish and give you the best of both worlds as far as have touch capacity and keyboarding. Being a black berry user I wanted to try something different..I thought that I would be happy having both capabilities..Keyboarding and Touch...Going back to the blackberry this phone is not worth $99.00...very unhappy..

A true waste of money.
by papabear0507 on June 3, 2012
Pros: I like the keyboard other than that, there isn't much that is good about this phone.
Cons: I have had this phone for a year, and it is by far, the worst phone I have ever had. It is constantly dropping calls, it has incredibly slow data speed, and is constantly having errors that shut down apps.
Summary: Including the several issues that I mentioned earlier, it has a very basic operating system that doesn't allow you to play certain apps...ie. words with friends and draw.

or else buying a different brand of phone to replace the Replenish because before Samsung would accept to repair it from the woranty, they tried to get me to just get a new one via. insurance clam, which i pay for, so it would be easier on them, SO.. i will let you know which one and will leave a review about also :)1 out of 1 users found this user opinion helpful.

DO NOT BUY: one of the worst phones I have ever owned
by rlaaustin on November 14, 2012
Pros: Android OS, takes decent photos, touchscreen + physical keyboard, compact size/shape and lightweight heft, SD card
Cons: Ridiculously short battery life, overheats easily, glitchy applications (they shut down on their own), insufficient disk space fills up quickly which prevents receipt of email/text & requires frequent manual deletion of data. Terribly annoying phone.

Summary: I have owned many cell phones in the past 12+ years and this is one of the worst ones I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I just purchased it in August when I decided to switch from Sprint to no contract Boost (purely for financial reasons.) For the past two years I had a Blackberry, which had virtually no issues other than the terrible camera. I decided to switch to Android since I use Gmail, Google calendar & drive (for both personal & business.) For that it's great and the camera is better than the Blackberry one by leaps & bounds, which has been my experience with Samsung phones. However, none of that is worth the frustrations that this phone has caused me in the past 3 months, particularly the battery life which is RIDICULOUSLY SHORT! The battery begins to drain as soon as I take it off the charger regardless of how much I use the phone, it appears all the background applications are too much for it. I have already purchased a different Android phone from Boost. It appears they are no longer even offering the Replenish, which is also annoying but I should have read the reviews before wasting any money (or time!) on this piece of junk.

SamSung Replenish
by Newme10 on March 9, 2012
Pros: Can get a lot of free apps. Play games pretty well. Text messaging is cool. Like the ringtones. Good for someone learning an android.
Cons: I think a stylus would be good when dialing out. It has screen to make calls or the keypad. I have big fingers so the keypad can be hard. Some apps take long to load. Has limited memory, may be able to purchase sd card maybe? Not sure.
Summary: I like the phone. Just wish I could upgrade as I am really into technology. But since I'm on a tight budget it meets my needs for right now. ...
Summary: I like the phone. Just wish I could upgrade as I am really into technology. But since I'm on a tight budget it meets my needs for right now. When I first got with boost I purchased their 19.99 phone and could barely do anything. So cant complain much. Plus I have best buy insurance in case anything goes out. So not too worried.
