The good:Samsung's Rugby Pro has stellar call quality, push-to-talk support, NFC, a speedy processor, and a decent 5-megapixel camera.
The bad: It doesn't look or feel all that durable, and the back panel popped open when I threw the handset.
The bottom line: Samsung's Rugby Pro makes a good, affordable choice for people seeking a more rugged smartphone, but it won't satisfy those who need an ultradurable frame.
Pros: - Durable - Light and small (since I don't need a bulky case) - Quick - Good battery life
Cons: - excessive and unwanted and irremovable apps - your friends won't understand why you are so excited about a phone that isn't an iphone or Galaxy S3

Summary: After spending 2 years with a "fancier" phone (higher MP camera, more features that I never used), I lost my fancy phone and ended up with the Rugby Smart through insurance. I really liked it but wanted something faster. Enter the Galaxy Rugby Pro. The price was right, it had all of the good features of the rugby smart, but was faster and a little "fancier". So far I've dropped it a couple times, on accident, and no ill effects. It's much faster than my old phone, runs anything I try, and will get through 2 days of regular use without needing an emergency charge. It doesn't have the fastest processor, or the biggest camera, or even the biggest screen. However, it does everything very well (including make clear phone calls, I almost forgot that phones still do that) and made me realize that I really didn't want fancy. I wanted a phone to do what I asked when I asked and not to be in constant fear of breaking an expensive piece of electronics.
Bottom Line:Samsung's Rugby Pro makes a good, affordable choice for people seeking a more rugged smartphone, but it won't satisfy those who need an ultradurable frame.
