Built-in asymmetric flex provides increased response and natural mobility by combining a rigid, high lateral panel and a low, softened medial panel. Power liners are custom-moldable from calves to toes and feature additional ankle inserts for increased foothold and control. Liners feature removable heel/ankle inserts for an increased supportive lock around ankles. Salomon Malamute boots have conformable molded footbeds that provide foot stabilization and arch support for improved pressure distribution. Anatomic power-frame shells provide lateral support for direct transmission of power through boot soles. Removable Energizer bars located just inside the upper shells allow you to personalize the flex; use none, one or both of the bars. Powerlace Pro soft lacing system offers fluid, 1-pull tightening and secure lock-down for a natural flex and feel; zonal tightening offers a personalized fit.
