The good: Trend Micro Internet Security 2009 is light and fast, and includes Parental Controls, Home Networking monitor, and free telephone technical support.
The bad: Trend Micro Internet Security 2009 is a bare-bones, just the essentials, basic Internet Security suite.
The bottom line: You can't beat the price. For a good, basic Internet Security suite, we recommend Trend Micro Internet Security 2009.

Easy install, setup, & update. Easy on the system too!

Pros: Trend Micro Internet Security 2009 offers really good protection at an affordable price. One license is good for up to three computers. It protects well without getting heavy handed on system resources.
Cons: I haven't found anything not to like with this new version.

Summary: I have used Trend Micro's protection for many years and have always been satisfied with their products. Internet Security 2009 is their best yet. I can continue using applications while the product scans the system without crashing or freezing. It even alerts you about potentially dangerous web sites that appear in search lists so trouble can be avoided rather than experienced. Spam and junk e-mail filtering is effective and a menu bar is even included for Microsoft Outlook. When the product is installed on more than one computer in a network, the software can be managed from one machine. Trend Micro Internet Security 2009 offers a lot of protection for the money and I really like the economics of a three computer license. Way to go, Trend Micro!

Cons: DON'T BUY IT, OR TRY IT, IF YOU WANNA BE INSTALLED 15 TROJANS AND ADWARE, TREND MICRO IS THE WORST INTERNET SECURITY SUITE, TO THOSE WHO MADE THEIR OWN REVIEWS, Y'ALL NOOB!, Y'ALL WORTHLESS, Y'ALL DUMB
