unhappy customer inferior glass in cook top...

Pros: very nice looking stove, burners have good control of temps and I like the ability to choose cooking area size, convection baking option on oven works well
Cons: glass burner area is not holding up at all, oven temperature on bake setting has a malfunction

Summary: I am using the recommended type of cookware but the glass top gets small gouges and nicks every time I use it even though I keep it clean of spills and clean it after almost every use, the oven on bake setting burns the bottom of everything I bake. After only 6 months of use this stove top really looks bad. A lot of money for an inferior product. When I called customer service they were absolutely no help at all. So very disappointedl!!!

Horrible stove. Knobs in wrong place. Burners broke.

Pros: Top is easy to clean.
Cons: Burners on front of stove can be accidentally turned on. The burners went out twice within a year and the company would not stand behind their product.

Summary: This is the worst appliance I have ever owned. Two burners went out after only six mos. After having them repaired under warranty they went out again. Kitchenaid did not stand behind their product and I have been having to deal with one half of a stove for the past 5 yrs. I will NEVER buy another Kitchenaid product ever again--large or small.
When I had my kitchen redone 6 yrs. ago I put in all Kitchenaid products including refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and garbage disposal. The stove never worked properly. The powers that be at Kitchenaid never saw fit to help a dedicated customer.
