Summary: After troubleshooting over the phone with Best Buy we discovered the sub was defective out of the box. When pressure was applied to the volume control the sub would short out and make a "boom" sound as if the sub had a bad connection. I was very frustrated, and tried all options thinking it was something with my receiver for a long time. I wasn't excepting that a Polk Audio sub would be defective. End result=It was defective, confirmed with Best Buy. When I brought the replacement unit home I had a hard time plugging in the Y-connector as it was if they used too much material on the female connection. I had to push the y-connector in very hard. I was told that the quality of Polk Audio wasn't a good as it was in the past however after this experience I will have to agree 100%

Forgot to mention, once it was all connected everything sounds great! I have this PSW110 along with 2 TSI 300's with a Pioneer 921k.
Pros: Lots of hook up options, sound is not muddy, and its very well built.
Cons: None so far.

Summary: I got this to replace my dead aiwa subwoofer. I didn't to go with the psw10 because it was smaller and had reports of rattling. This was on sale for 20 dollars more than the psw10 so I picked it up. So far its paired well with my polk audio surround bar 50. If you can get it for 150 go for it its great for the price. The only thing that I would advise is that it is a down firing subwoofer so its not going to have the blow you away feel that you get with a front firing subwoofer.
