Best for the money

Pros: The Impactmini is an affordable, high-output, low distortion subwoofers. The cabinet with black gloss lacquer trim that fits easily into your room, while the deep, defined bass brings your favorite movies and music to life - at very friendly prices.

Excellent - best subwoofer I have heard in its class.

Pros: Best sound I have found at the $300-400 price range. Easy to configure. Easily adjustable. Excelent quality. 5 Year warrenty. (see specifications below for features). All but the most demanding of listeners should be well satisfied.
Cons: None that I can think of even at a cost od $300

Summary: Great frequency responce 38hz to 140hz +/- 3db, some larger units have a specification of 28 db on the low end but this is more than ample for those of us who are not super demanding (mlost people can not hear the differance). Their is more than enough power even for a large room (180 watts dynamic / 300 watts RMS). Sensitivity speaker level line 1.0 V, 100mv. Easy to configure - 2 line input jacks, 2 speaker inputs and 2 speaker output terminals, Phase switch (phase 0-180 degrees), Volume level knob, Low Pass Frequency Crossover - 50hz to 200hz, on/off switch, Auto on/off, standby/on LED on rear. 5 Year warrenty! Is thier a better more exspensive unit out thier - yes but why bother this is more than ample for all but the most demanding listeners.
