Good sound

Pros: Nice clean bass Paid $125 off ebay. Solidly built and looks nice.
Cons: Does not like being turned up to high, it will clip.

Summary: Does not like to be turned up to high. With the gain knob bieng a clock and 6 o'clock being zero. Having the gain set at 11pm Tron blew it to hell and back. For a buck 25 its a nice sub. If i had paid any where near retail price for it i'd be pissed off.

Better than average powered subwoofer

Pros: Puts out good and clean bass and easy to operate.
Cons: Cant turn up past 1/3 on the gain without distortion. Unless you keep the volume on your receiver turned down. If i made this powered subwoofer i would of put alot better sub in. The sub just cant handle the power of the amp without distorting.

Summary: I have two of these because i found them on clearance at hh-gregg at such a low price i couldn't pass up. They sound good and are probably more than good enough for your normal home theater center. Mine isnt normal. i like to be able to turn up a little. i have three subwoofers in my home theater. 1 15 and 2 of these. Sounds great with all three. When i just had the 15 it sounded good but when i added these it gave it that punch i was looking for. the 15 is great for explosions and the 10s are great for all the gun shoots or any other quick bass in movies. Like I said the only problem i have is being able to turn them up and use the full 250 watts. if you was able to do that you wouldnt touch these for under 400 to 500 though because you can tell there is plenty of power wasted on these. If your a DIY guy buy one and replace the sub with something that can handle these amps. I hope this helps you when you go to purchase. Last words for the money say around 200 or less buy it.
