An excellent, compact, and yet big-sound system
by zapvolt on June 15, 2012
Pros: Clean delivery, without artificial coloring on any sound bands. Good looking, well constructed speaker enclosures. (I ordered the cherry wood.) Excellent balance of high frequencies, mid-range and low range. Truly a transparent system.
Cons: I have had the system about one year and have yet to find anything wrong.

Summary: We use this system in our winter home in Florida. Mostly, we watch HD TV and movies. Our 62 inch panel TV delivers 3-D and the sound produced by the Intimus 4T Hybrid SD home theater system will blow you away. The room in which we have installed the system has a wood floor and tall ceilings. We have toned down the room's hardness with a rug and a few tapestry hangings. This is not a large room as it was the former owner's office, however with carefully placed speakers placed to the rear of the listening position, a center speaker in the console, the deep base speaker in the corner and the pedestal speakers on each side of the TV, this system rocks.

Awesome Sound, Excellent Quality, and Stylish
by wickitsB on November 14, 2010
Pros: The speakers are beautiful and the sound quality is excellent. Thanks to CNET I would have never found these speakers or Aperion Audio. Speakers have some weight but the sound quality is excellent from each one.
Cons: Speakers collect dust easily (I have the black finish).
Summary: Extremely happy with this product and plan on updating my receiver soon (currently have Onkyo SR606) but the speakers will last for a very long time. Make sure you don'...
Summary: Extremely happy with this product and plan on updating my receiver soon (currently have Onkyo SR606) but the speakers will last for a very long time. Make sure you don't skimp out no your receiver or these speakers won't sound the best that they truly can. Do your research, buy a meter, and enjoy the great sound that Aperion Audio has to offer. Thanks again CNET!

Better options out there

Other reviews mentioned the Klipsch system, but I don't recommend them either due to the horn loaded tweeters which make everything a little to bright.
I took a long time deciding on my home theater speakers, demoed a lot of systems. Ended up with the Axiom Audio Epic Grand Master 350 system, minus the sub. I went with an SVS PC 12 plus sub and couldn't be happier with the results. I would look at both of those companies before settling with Aperion.2 out of 4 users found this user opinion helpful.

Bad Experience with Aperion
by javajon25 on July 8, 2011
Pros: Nice cardboard shipping boxes with speakers in cloth bags..... made in China I believe.
Cons: I bought a 5.1 system from Aperion... it was on sale, $1200 vs $1600. I Got them in the mail as promised. The speakers have nice cabinets which is where it ended. The 12inch sub did not work from the get go. After talking to their tech I had to pull o

Summary: Aperion tech support was less then helpful. I explained to them I was overseas and the speakers had never worked properly. They refused to replace anything and I would have to pay for shipping and repairs. What really pissed me off is when I talked to one guy who sounded so flipping sincere to want to help me......and then never would return calls when I called to find out if he was making any progress. Aperion is not very reliable and definitaly I would never buy from them again.... their quality control sucked and they would not stand by their product....
