The good: Beautifully finished six-piece, 5.1 channel home theater speaker package with advanced driver technology; amazingly potent 8-inch, 250 watt powered subwoofer; compact size.
The bad: Unusual setup required for best sound quality.
The bottom line: The Definitive Technology ProCinema 600 surround speakers pack a mighty wallop for their small size, but the system needs some extra care during setup to sound its best.

Best Sound out of a small package

Pros: The speakers are great looking and the sub is small enough to hide anywhere, but has a big kick. The speakers and the sub work perfect together, helps create a mid range. Very solid speakers.
Cons: The set up can be time consuming.

Summary: I spent a lot of time researching small speakers and these turned out to be as great as every one said and then some. I also purchased the speaker stands for the front L & R speakers and the whole package in white looks great. It just starts with the looks, the sound is amazing. I actually work with the sub, because sometimes I push it up too loud that I get complaints from upstairs! The only issue (if an issue at all) is the set up, you've got to work with the receiver to get the best quality sound. But very worth it. I just upgraded to a new reciever and that made the set a lot easier.

The ProCinema 600 System incorporates the same new technologies and advancements, including BDSS drivers, pure aluminum dome tweeters, planar medite passive radiators and a 250-watt SuperCube technology powered subwoofer, which have made the ProCinema 1000 and 800 systems instant mega hits. The satellites and center channel are available in high-gloss hand-rubbed piano gloss black (with matching black subwoofer) or gloss white. The satellites can be shelf-mounted with their unique tri-lobed base, wall-mounted using the built-in keyhole mount or optional pivot mount or stand-mounted with their optional floor stands. The center channels have an adjustable foot for shelf-mounting or can be wall-mounted using their built-in threaded inserts. Sonically, the ProCinema 600 System is a revelation in terms of achieving incredible sound at an affordable price.
