Pros: this system is going to be almost identical to the z-5500 (highly reviewed)
Cons: less subwoofer power (165 instead of 185). this is the only complaint that I have heard from the other review? Which is obsurd. I own the z-5500's and the sub is entirely too overpowered as it is. If anything, this system will be more balanced.

Summary: Going to be just as good as the z-5500 (if not better), and no one using either system will notice 20 less watts of power to that thunderous 10" sub.

Pros: Excellent sound overall. The bass will not disappoint. Sound is super clear and loud without distortion.
Cons: Logitech replaced the control module from one with a LCD display to just lights. Still gets the job done just in my opinion not as nice.

Summary: I own the z-680, z-5500, and now the z-906 I could not be happier with these speakers. They sound fantastic. Some people say they are expensive but I dare you to walk into Best Buy and find a better 5.1 system for $399.99. Trust me you wont cause I used to work there.
Pros: This stereo does have more of a modern look. It was definitely due for an update. Now offers an auxiliary output (red/white output), this is good for hooking an ipod up to the stereo.
Cons: The main con about this stereo is that logitech downgraded the total watts that the subwoofer puts out. On the Z906 it can put out a total wattage of 165 whereas the Z5500 put out 185 watt. Why would Logitech do this? I want a louder stereo. In my book th

Summary: Overall, this is a downgrade to the Z5500 in my opinion. It was a long wait for a new upgrade from the Z5500 but in my opinion the Z906 did not fulfill this upgrade. I am going to try and buy another Z5500 before they are all sold out. I would recommend doing the same thing if your looking for more options and a louder stereo.
