The good: With its Terrain Response system, the 2010 Range Rover Sport tackles the back country and tricky asphalt turns equally well; the automatic transmission shifts aggressively in sport mode. The Harman Kardon audio system produces a rich sound.
The bad: Fuel economy from the supercharged V-8 is dismal, coming in at the low teens. The navigation system lacks traffic, and the iPod interface is not easy to use while driving.
The bottom line: The 2010 Range Rover Sport fulfills its promise of excellent on-road and off-road performance, but the cabin tech is just a little better than average.
Pros: Performance and handling. sound systems is far superior than previous. better color seletions and interior fabrics are better with the extended leather package. Better overall dashboard layout easy access to controls to and from steering wheel.
Cons: electronics for the entire car from, memory seats not holding the settings to the computer think the car is overheating and shuts the engine down while driving. kinks have been worked out but give me the new 510hp engine in the older '08 supercharge.
Summary: very durable, the more it's driven the better it feels especially in dynamic mode. In 6 months I've got 10,000 mile on it, we have used it ...
Summary: very durable, the more it's driven the better it feels especially in dynamic mode. In 6 months I've got 10,000 mile on it, we have used it to travel on long highway outtings and everyday business. the comfort is good however, the air conditioning system needs a pollen filtration system like BMW. To much dust is allowed inside the cabin. Gas mileage is not to be desired however, at this price level, if you are concerned about gas mileage, maybe you are in the wrong SUV.
Bottom Line:The 2010 Range Rover Sport fulfills its promise of excellent on-road and off-road performance, but the cabin tech is just a little better than average.
