2011 Kia Sportage price range: $17,495.00

The good: The 2011 Kia Sportage's all-wheel-drive system includes a differential lock and descent control. The navigation system detours around traffic and works quickly. Voice command includes dial by name through the phone system.
The bad: The engine is merely average tech, with a more advanced power plant on the horizon. The navigation system doesn't include 3D maps.
The bottom line: A good multipurpose vehicle, the 2011 Kia Sportage offers a solid cabin tech package, but we would wait for next year's turbo version.

My 2011 Kia Sportage:)
by aidensaunt on August 28, 2011
Pros: Lots of inside room, very comfortable seating for 5 people. No outside road noise. All controls at drivers fingertips.
Cons: Would like a little more power?

Summary: I have owned my 2011 Kia Sportage for 10 months. I went from a VW Jetta to my Kia and have not regretted the change at all, except for the horsepower. It is a little slower than the 1.8T I had with my VW, but I do not regret my purchase at all. Kia has a best seller with the Kia Sportage! I feel like it kind of "wraps its arms around me" when I get in the drivers seat. Very comfy and fun vehicle to have.

My New 2011 Kia Sportage
by Zetakitten2 on July 29, 2011
Pros: It has been 8 months and I truly love my Kia Sportage. It still looks brand new and it runs like a champ. It is so reliable and it gives me great comfort knowing that I have free roadside assistance for the next 5 years!!!! It comes with the car. What a d
Cons: I have had 2 flat tires where I ran over nails in each cases. This is not covered by any warranty so I had to pay out of pocket. Also when I crank the car first thing in the morning it gets load and roars like a little tiger. It has a little kick to it. A

Summary: Overall it's the best car I have ever purchased. I love my Kia. The color if the car is soooo unique as well...it's Black Cherry. It drives so smoothly and its a great deal for the money. In addition, you can't beat the 10 year warranty that comes with all Kia Cars. I love it I love it. I will never purchase anything besides a Kia. Best investment EVER!!!!

Awesome Vehicle
by lccurtis1 on March 15, 2011
Pros: AWD, 18 inch Wheels, Several extra for the value
Cons: Ride could be a little softer but I can handle it.

Summary: This is a very nice vehicle and makes you feel really safe and secure when driving. Kia has created a beast in the compact crossover sector and don't worry about that 2.4 I4 engine it actually has more power than last years 6 cylinder and has great pick up when entering highways and traffic. It does a great job and its all most of us require. The turbo should be a good addition but you do drop a few mpg's 21/27 city/hwy so to me its better to stay with the EX model that has everything the SX has for a lower price.
Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and never thought I would love a KIA as much as I love this little Sportage and I'm a 42 year old man who is looking forward to other Kia products. -
Amazing car! Considering the price 5 stars for sure

Pros: AWD is great! Build quaility is very good as well.
Cons: 1 piece of plastic on the dash that reflects into the windshield. Engine could be bigger.
Summary: I've had mine for a few weeks, and LOVE it! We had an ice storm last week, and the AWD worked great. I could drive were you couldn't ...

The little engine has some good pep, but drive it even a little hard, and the mileage tanks, so the turbo motor might be better if you're worried about mileage.
The cabin has great room-I'm 6'3" and have the seat slid up two clicks.
Styling is great too-it's like a Nissan Juke for grownups!
The only thing that's bugging me is the little plastic hump over the speedometer. That, and the ridge around it, reflect into the windshield constantly. I'm about to go buy a piece of contact paper to cover the thing-it really sucks. My interior is gray. I doubt if it's as bad with the black interior. -
Love the 2011 Kia Sportage!
by ChristineD68 on October 30, 2010
Pros: I owned a 2007 Kia Sportage and traded up to the new 2011 - I love everything about it...The styling, the color (black cherry). My husband wants to trade in his Suzuki SX4 for one of these!
Cons: The only issue I am having currently is the bluetooth setup.
Summary: The only issue I am having currently is the bluetooth setup - it was working fine with my Pantech Impact, then I deleted the phone from the system and re-connected ...

This new Sportage is Awesome.
by Yoho44 on October 19, 2010
Pros: Don't listen to that reveiw in the video above.
I have owned a 2011 Sportage since Aug and it has been fantastic..The engine has ample power and gets you going fine. The electric power sterring is firm and feels engaged to the ground.Cons: The only con and its not a big one is the turn signals are low in the rear bumper.

Summary: If you are looking for a CUV with great mileage and bold sleek looks with a fantastic quiet (hardly know its running engine) and a functional interior with many standard features that you don't get with other vehicles then take a look at the new Sportage.I love the Sirus satellite radio and will renew when the free subscrption expires. The Standard Heated front seats will be a saviour when the cold canuck winter sets in and the heated mirrors will be great as well.
So far I have had no problems with my new Sportage and it has no rattles and runs fantastic.I know I made a great choice in getting this vehilcle and will keep it for many years . -
Sportgage vs. ????
by dlw951 on September 14, 2010
Pros: The article compares this vehicle to those that are in a whole other class of SUV. Wayne, the Sorento is more comprable to the vehicles you have chosen in this article. The Sportage does a whole lot better than its true competition( CRV, ROGUE, RAV4)
Cons: Like Wayne says, the furture powerplant will be the better option. But for now, the standard powerplant still does the job.

Summary: Don't let the Kia of OLD fool you. The new line of products from Kia, although creeping up in price, are built with the same quality in mind as the Toyotas and Nissans. The Sportage has great styling, great utility options, good MPG, and most importingly, E-Z on the wallet!!
