4x4 capability
Third row seating size
Styling
Tailgate allows true tailgating
Cons: No automatic sunroof cover
Cockpit UI could use some UX work

Summary: Great ride, very fast. The leather wears very well with heavy usage.
When jabbing about the gas mileage, please be fair. Sequoia, jeep wrangler, Honda pilot and a lot of other vehicles in this class share a 12/18 rating ... And a lot don't have the heavy 4x4 equipment and almost none have the 385hp power.

Simply wonderful
by JNAlvit on April 20, 2011
Pros: Have owned LR3 & the LR4 is a completely different vehicle in terms of the driving experience. Engine is fantastic the steering wheel is super responsive making it a pleasure to take this vehicle out on a drive. Every time i take it out it feels like
Cons: Gas consumption sucks i wish JLR did something about this. its probably the only reason that would deter anyone from buying this vehicle. The second row seats are not too comfortable with less room they are too straight would have been great if LR had mad

Superbly capable, luxurious fit & finish. Feature rich.
by lr4driver on April 18, 2011
Pros: Quiet, beautifully appointed interior w/ all features one expects from a luxury car. Nimble & responsive - very quick acceleration. Bluetooth, nav, audio are extremely intuitive & easy to use. Integrates beautifully with iPhone/mp3.
Cons: Gas mileage = premium gas guzzler, but well worth every acceleration!

Love this car but too many electrical gremlins
by waltzonice on March 22, 2011
Pros: Best luxury off-road vehicle - period. Love the heated steering wheel!
Cons: Too many little problems. Gas guzzler. Nav & cabin tech disappointing.
Summary: I've had the car for almost 6 months. Overall I love this vehicle and really enjoy driving it. But I've had several little issues already, some of which ...

Summary: I've had the car for almost 6 months. Overall I love this vehicle and really enjoy driving it. But I've had several little issues already, some of which Land Rover haven't been able to solve yet. The CNET review of the cabin tech is spot on -- kinda sucks for a car of this price. But in the end, I bought this vehicle for the combination of off-road capability and luxury. Will be taking it out on some trails when the snow melts... can't wait! :)

Why didn't Brian Cooley review this car? Nothing against Molly (I love Molly!!), but I really would be interested to get Brian's opinion on the LR4.
