- Description: D-Link's xStack 20-port Security Gigabit Switch is a fully managed Layer 2 switch with IPv6 support, intended to provide complete End-to-End Security (E2ES) at the edge of enterprise networks. This integrated security solution combines switches, firewall and Wireless LAN by supporting a number of features including 802.1X Access Control, Guest VLAN, RADIUS and TACAS+ authentication, along with Web-based Access Control (WAC) and MAC-based Access Control (MAC). With IP-MAC-Port Binding, administrators can bind a source IP address with an associated MAC and also define the port number to enhance user access control. The switch also supports DHCP Screening, a feature that denies access to rogue DHCP servers. D-Link's joint security solution provides admission control and real-time defense through Microsoft's NAP (Network Access Protection) and D-Link's ZoneDefense respectively. ZoneDefense technology allows businesses to integrate their switches with D-Link's NetDefend firewalls, for full coverage and proactive security architecture. With D-Link Safeguard Engine, the switch remains available in the event of a virus outbreak. In addition, the switch provides a virtual stacking functionality via D-Link SIM technology, which allows up to 32 units to be managed via a single IP address. The switch is certified with the IPv6 Ready Logo Phase 2, guaranteeing compliance and interoperability with other IPv6 products. The DGS-3200-24 is also D-Link Green certified, for the energy savings that it provides without sacrificing operational performance or functionality.
