The good: Apple's iPad 2 is dramatically thinner and boasts front and rear cameras, FaceTime video chat, a faster processor, and 3G options for both AT&T and Verizon.
The bad: The iPad's screen resolution hasn't budged, photo quality is mediocre, there's still no Adobe Flash support, and ports for HDMI, USB, and SD all require adapters.
The bottom line: The iPad 2 refines an already excellent product. Its easy-to-use interface, vast app catalog, and marathon battery life bolster Apple's claim to being the king of tablets.

Pros: Looks good, Good battery life.
Cons: Video performance is a joke, expensive, cant remove battery, no adobe flash, no USB or SD card support etc...

I have always been resistant to Apple products; it seems you get half the performance for twice the price. The products seem to always fall just short of what would make them great. Sub-par or lacking of cameras, no removable batteries, lack of USB and other such ports. I wanted to get the wife something nice for Christmas. She is from China and Apple seems to be wildly popular there and she always wanted some sort of Apple product. So...I was sucked into the hype, the look, and the portability like many others, I broke down and got her an Ipad 2 white WIFI 64GB. Someone just shoot me...
I wanted to like it and the wife I think wanted to date it... But after 1 month we both hate it. It was like a disappointing love affair. The camera is a poor performer, constant video chat issues, grainy, lagging etc. You Apple zombies will say "oh must be slow connection, the connection speed I have is very fast 15Mb per sec, so that is not the video issue.
No flash capability is a HUGE pain, I never realized how many sites use flash until I did not have the capability to play it. Compatibility issues with many sites, software products and servers are far greater than I ever realized. On QQ (an Asian better form of Yahoo IM) I can't video chat with anyone unless they are on an iPhone or iPad so If they are on a PC you are out of luck. Had the same issue with any video chat possibilities except Skype and in general the video quality in Skype is severely lacking. Overall my wife and I are thoroughly disappointed with the iPad 2 and currently trying to sell it for well under what we paid for 625.00 it and can't seem to unload it. We regret this purchase VERY much. Stay away from the hype! You have been warned.
