Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime (64GB, champagne) price range: $600.00 - $974.70

The good: The Asus Transformer Prime sports an iPad 2-inspired design that's even thinner and nearly as light, while also managing to include microSD and Micro-HDMI support. The Prime delivers smooth and clear 1080p video, and the 8-megapixel camera captures detail and color more accurately than any other tablet camera we've reviewed. Android 4.0 makes small but significant improvements to Honeycomb.
The bad: Not every game takes advantage of the quad-core CPU, and frame rates can suffer as a result. When connected to the dock keyboard, the tablet is top-heavy and can easily slide off a lap or table if you're not careful.
The bottom line: The Asus Transformer Prime is the best full-featured Android tablet yet, with a sexy design, thoughtful features, and an impressive camera.

4) Great battery life
5) Thin and light designCons: 1) Small market that is missing some big name apps
2) Fingerprint magnet, and seems too easy to scratch
3) Got a hot pixel after 2 days (not only one)
4) Already an upgrade to this device in motionSummary: Overall, the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime is a beautiful luxury tablet. The form factor and design is excellent; Thin, light, beautiful spiral finish. The inside isn't the only ...
Summary: Overall, the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime is a beautiful luxury tablet. The form factor and design is excellent; Thin, light, beautiful spiral finish. The inside isn't the only thing that will shine on this device. Inside it has a 1.3 Ghz Quad Core processor -the first of it's kind- as well as NVIDIA's new tegra 3! The dock is also a delightful option, with it's great keyboard, multi-touch gestures, and trackpad, it really brings everything together in harmony, turning it into a laptop-like experience.
I did experience a few difficulties however, mostly with the operating system. It is running Android's new Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0, and is a great experience, but still buggy. I noticed crashing, and freezing at times. I for one am a huge app-fanatic, and this device did not support some big name apps that I really desired. Sadly, the OS isn't the only downfall, it will also be tough to keep this thing looking pretty. From pictures you can tell that the device is no dog, and really brings elegance to the tablet world, however, I had this device for around 3-4 weeks, and I already had a small dent, fingerprints everywhere, and a small, shallow scratch or two. I take care of my devices, and had 2 cases, and lots of love, and this still happened. This isn't a device for a construction worker looking to take his favorite little gadget to work during lunch in the bulldozer.
Last thing I would like to cover is that the Asus Transformer Prime TF700T is already in motion! The device was out for a few weeks when Asus announced this! This device can be considered a prototype, which is the main reason why I returned mine. The TF700T will feature a 1080P display, as well as improved wi-fi and GPS services. Clearly the current model is facing issues if they are "improving" them, even though I for one didn't experience them.
All in all, this is a great device, that I would recommend to anyone looking for a tablet, especially those planning to replace their laptops. It's snappy, and overall a great chunk of metal. I would caution them however that it is an Android tablet, and with Android comes bugs! It isn't for the person who becomes frustrated when things don't go his or her way. Also, if you're looking to have a top of the line, brand spanking new device, this isn't for you. Devices DO get upgraded, and clearly this one will since the upgrade is rumored for a June release, so in 7 months time, will you be fine with it being an older tablet?
I hope this lengthy review was of some assistance to you. The device is great so long as my brief cons list doesn't make you hesitant. I hope you enjoy this device, or whatever device you decide on! Enjoy!1 out of 1 users found this user opinion helpful.
