Google Nexus 10 price range: $399.00

The good: The Nexus 10 has a beautifully sharp screen. It's light, durable, and has the fastest processor of any Android tablet. Photo Sphere is an incredibly cool concept. Google's content ecosystem is only getting better.
The bad: The included charger isn't fast enough to power the battery while playing a game; even while idle, it charges painfully slowly. There's no storage expansion option, and apps that take full advantage of the screen are currently few and far between. Navigating isn't quite as seamless as on the Nexus 7.
The bottom line: The Nexus 10's superior design and swift performance make it one of the best Android tablets to date.

Clearly my best tablet to date, even besting my iPad 3!
by Inquisitor78 on November 23, 2012
Pros: Build quality, Price, Outstanding Screen, Blazing fast CPU, Excellent Graphics Performance, Android 4.2, Photosphere, Multiple Users, Front facing speakers, HDMI Port, Micro USB for charging and data transfer, Good Camera, Tons of other features
Cons: None! Zero!

Summary: What can I say? This is my 4th tablet I have owned since the craze began. Without a doubt this Nexus 10 is the best, even better than my iPad 3. Just everything about this tablet is superb! The build quality is simply fantastic and feel sooo good to hold (something my iPad completely fails in) The back is soft but grippy to touch. The rounded edges make it easier to hold in the palm of your hand. The lightweight feel and thinness is awesome. Then there is the screen... WOW. Its amazing. Putting it side my side to the iPad and you can definitely see the difference. Android 4.2 is light years ahead of iOS. I'm sorry, but iOS just feels like a stale OS that hasn't changed it UI since 2007. So glad i've got this Nexus 10, and now I'm going to sell my iPad and that will pretty much cover what I paid for this superb purchase. If you are on the fence, get one! As for the apps argument, don't listen to these idiots saying there are none, as that's simply not true and indicative of someone who doesn't have a clue what they are talking about. I have over 50 optimised apps I use everyday. I don't need 300000 apps to choose from as for me, its about the quality of apps, and Android has them all.

Great - got it a week ago and I'm still excited!
by Econ_Andy on December 6, 2012
Pros: Fast, beautiful, perfect browsing experience with chrome, the new swipe keyboard is a breeze to use.. All the relevant apps are there: Facebook, Netflix, Instapaper, etc.
Cons: Heavier than a 7".

Summary: I've been very happy with my purchase. It's great value for me reading, browsing, using netflix and facebook etc., basic text editing and spreadsheets. This tablet is such an improvement to any other 10" Android tablet I've seen. I tried my friends iPad 3 and I'd say it definitely raises on that one.
This device is amazing. Battery life could be improved but everything else rocks!
It really surprised me how much I use this device because it's so much lighter than my laptop, yet it's fast and comes with a big screen.
The google integration is incredibly tight, gmail, google search, google drive etc. really makes it worth it.

Yes, the screen is good
by fbomb on January 29, 2013
Pros: Beautiful screen - Android 4.2.1 is the best yet - more and more magazines are appearing and they look stunning - love the drag and drop of Android and how Android really connects you to the Google world (Gmail, calendar, contacts)- thin
Cons: Battery life is terrible - reboots - still has an unfinished feel to it

Summary: I've gone through my share of tablets (iPad 2&3, Galaxy Tab (7&10.1), Xoom), both Android and Apple. I am a tablet guy, carry it with me all over the place - love to have tons to read with me all the time, love to peek in on Facebook/Twitter and keep abreast of email and calendar elements. This screen is really beautiful and shows itself off wonderfully but the current retinas on Apple are right there with it. The charger that comes with it is simply unacceptable. When people talk of battery life, it's not just how long it lasts on a charge but also how fast it can charge up and this is certainly a fail on this device - the stock charger is terrible. However, there is a pogo charger that you can pick up - and it makes a HUGE difference but that cord does not serve to transfer files. Guess Samsung/Google had to make a choice. If I use this device heavily and open a lot of programs, even if I prune it and turn off apps, it still freezes and either reboots or needs a reset by holding the power button. This would drive me nuts but for the fact that . . . this thing boots up in a blink (30 seconds max). I've never seen a tablet boot this quick. The thinness of this tablet is very nice. I probably should rate this lower than 5 stars but since I picked it up, I really do not want another tablet, I like it that much. I finally feel like I have the tablet I want. While the battery is less than ideal, a full charge at night generally gives me a good day with it and I can just sit in a cafe or a library and really go at it. Final point - Android 4.2.1 kicks butt. Hey wait, didn't you say it reboots? Yes, and that stinks - but 4.2.1 is the smoothest, most powerful Android version yet. Like I said, I've stopped looking for another tablet once I got this.

Summary: First of the performance was surprising, really smooth navigation through out the tablet. The grippy rubber back feels really really good. The price makes it a steal, for both 16 & 32gb models. And note the best part is the screen! The 300 PPI resolution looks so crisp, specially when reading books and watching videos. This is truly one of the best, if not the best tablet out there.

Everything you could want for business or pleasure.
by connor-showalter on December 12, 2012
Pros: Screen, Price, Battery Life, Apps(but they need to optimized), Nexus platform, and quick updates.
Cons: No SD card slot, but not a huge deal. Slow to charge.

Summary: This tablet is great. I love it. Best Christmas present I have received. I am not a Google or Apple love, I just love good products. I had an Iphone 4 and now I have an Galaxy Nexus phone, which prompted me to try the Nexus 10. This will last me year. No slow down whatsoever, buttery smooth transition. Love it. No one would regret buying this. I have 600 books on here and no dent in the storage space, couple hundred apps, and a movie. Still 11 gigs of space. I only have 16gb, sorta wish I had 32gb but I can stream the music from Play Music. I love it.

Summary: The Google Nexus 10 is clearly a brilliant tablet. It's got top-end specs at a mid-range price; that alone makes it deserving of attention. Add to that a generally stunning screen and near faultless performance and it really does start to look like an iPad beater.
The iPad no longer boasts the highest resolution screen around and is left looking overpriced, while iOS 6 is starting to seem a bit old hat compared to Android 4.2. But it still tops the Nexus 10 for depth of colour; it's got a much more premium build and is available with more storage and 3G connectivity.2 out of 2 users found this user opinion helpful.

Easy to use.
by befamousvideo on February 25, 2013
Pros: Good screen. Plenty of apps. Great for social media, news and multi media viewing.
Cons: Crashes daily. Locks up and stops responding. Sometimes this will happen for random reasons and for no obvious reason.
Summary: Not stable since it crashes and reboots itself each use.
