  Oversized phone

  Pros: Nice tablet for a reasonable price

  Cons: running android 2.2 can't run Netflix and is basically a large phone.

  An excellent Tablet

  Pros: Android 2.2. The battery life is good and I like the look of the tablet.

  Great -- for what I want

  Pros: -Smaller screen = more portable
  -Most apps now work with in full-screen mode
  -Price via resale (ie eBay)
  -Fast

  Cons: -No Honeycomb/Android 3.x
  -Keyboard seems a little slow

  I have enjoyed my time with the SGT7. I bought the Otterbox Defender case, which really added to my enjoyment. Makes the device seem more sturdy to me. The keyboard is big, which is awesome, but I can't type fast with it like I can my iPhone. It gets confused by the speed, I guess.
  
  Everything else works as it should. I have experienced a few contained crashes (ie app crash) but nothing real notable. I bought this as my own little "tablet starter kit" and it hasn't disappointed me at all. Be sure to turn off GPS if you value battery life.
  
  These things go for $275 or so on eBay. That gives you a great device at a great price point and NO CONTRACT. #tri-winning

  Not Worth The Money

  Pros: Beautiful display, thin and light, great battery, very quick and responsive.

  Cons: No software to connect to a PC; what a bonehead misstep of Samsung's to make me spend hours trying and failing to get software to connect to my PC. Win 7 wouldn't auto connect with it, Kies didn't work or their PC software.

  Summary: I bought Samsung Galaxy Tab P-1000 on 22nd May 2011. From the very first day, I found that the device screen gets frozen, shows an error "Power Reset or Unknown Upload Mode" while carrying it from one place to another if carrying in the packaging box. Sometime it shows "Downloading... Do Not Turn Off Target!!!". Due to lack of time and busiest schedule of my office, I couldn't take it withing first 4 days to the service centre for replacement of the tablet. I carried it to service centre in the next sunday (after 7 days) on 29th May 2011 for the solution of problem. I was told by the service centre that there is a minor problem in software. They somehow upgrade the software and handed back to me by assuring that I won't get this trouble again. I took handset back to home. At around 8PM on the same day (29th May, 2011), i tried to capture some photographs of my family but when I started the camera, it shown me an error "Warning! Camera Failed". I was shocked to see that error. I couldn't go back to service centre right then as the centre was closed and remained closed on Monday due to weekly off as well. I also noticed the "Downloading, Do not turn off target" error again on 30th May as well while bringing the Tab from home to office but i couldn't do anything as the service centre was off due to weekly off. Today, on 31st May, 2011, I took the handset to service centre and told them the problem of the camera and hanging problem I faced on Monday. The engineer (Rahul) checked it and told me that there is some problem in the motherboard of the Tab. I was shocked to know that and I didn't want any repair. I wanted to get a complete replacement of the newly handset and I was told that it can't be replaced as the handset is more than 4 days older. I'm fed off buying this handset. I never thought that the brand name like Samsung would sell defective peace.
  
  I can somehow tell other people who's willing to buy this product. Please beware of this product as it has already given negative responses since the day of purchasing.

  Good to use but lousy quality control

  great Tab I Love it!!!!

  Pros: Wifi capabilities, android app market, 7" screen makes it really portable. Very easy to use. Great product for the cost

  Cons: None really maybe the finger prints.
