• Description: The Dell PowerVault 110T LTO-2 Tape Drive is a high-capacity data storage device that is designed to perform unattended backups, restore Open Systems applications, and retrieve and archive files. With a combination of data compression and compaction, the tape drive offers a formatted cartridge capacity of 200 GB (400 GB assuming a 2:1 compression ratio) and a sustained user data transfer rate of 35 MBps (up to 70 MBps with 2:1 compression). It features built-in read-after-write verification for a high level of data integrity. The drive also incorporates an intelligent LTO-DC dual-mode compression algorithm for superior data compression. The PowerVault 110T features a failsafe leader capture mechanism that virtually eliminates lost leaders, increasing the success of your backup and restore operations. The tape drive offers full backward read and write compatibility with LTO-1 cartridges. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems to ensure it will work with your computer and is compatible with the Dell PowerEdge 2600 Server.
