  Plug & play Euro card for the Nuvi 350/360

  Pros: Plug and Play -- no need of a computer. No downloading required. Maps were accurate. Maps included hotels, museums, historical sites, gas stations, etc.

  Summary: I bought the Navigator Europe card based upon the reviews of the European Nuvi unit. We used the card for 30 days and I was not dissappointed. Its hard to imagine that maps of Western Europe could be placed on a small data card.
  
  We drove through Germany, Austria, Italia, Franch, & Switzerland. The Nuvi with European map card was near flawless. The only problems came on newly constructed "roundabouts." But we got used to it. Our only significant problem came in a "shortcut" the Nuvi tried to arrange over a mountain in Italy.
  
  We used the unit to find historical sites, lodging, restaraunts, gas stations, and so on. It was effective as we travelled through so many small towns. It was also useful on the Autobahn--as miss an exit, and you could be driving 10-20 km before the next exit.
  
  In Italy/France we could opt out of some of the expensive toll roads and the unit quickly put us back on course when a road was closed.
  
  Driving relatively fast (for US roads) at 200 km/h, the Nuvi would warn you further in advance for your upcoming exit. Roads were not verbally mentioned by name (eg. ". . . in 400 meters, turn right.). By the way, you could select English or Metric units (along with English or Aussie accents or a number of different languages)
  
  One remarkable item: we could travel in one of those long tunnels of 5 or more km and the Nuvi would still keep you going with information based on your travel speed and direction before the tunnel.
  
  I would recommend it to anyone travelling by car in Europe. We had virtually no problems. One other note. We could use the Nuvi 350 placed on our center console and did not need to have it stuck on the dashboard or placed on the windshield. (This is convenient in California where it is illegal to put navigators or radar detectors on the windshields/windows. While sitting in the console, it navigated with no problems. This was nice because I was driving a new car to be shipped back to the states.
