It has a mind of its own

Pros: The idea of programing in recording time is wonderful, if it worked. Pass thru works.
Cons: Uncontrollably changing frequencies. In the middle of a program the channel changes. Often to the last channel in the programing. Not reliable for programing.

Summary: I bought 2 of these machines, both have the same error. The manufactures web site is useless. I contacted the retail store for support upgrading the converter. There are two choices in the settings to update the software. The vendor was not aware of anyway to upgrade and fix the problem.

An ok inexpensive product

Pros: easy to set up
Cons: After a week of using it, it stopped working. It would flash a green light instead of a steady stream of green. Then after unplugging it, I couldn't even get it to turn back on. Instead the red light appeared but no signs of "life" in the converter.
