fine but obsolescent - MUST have latest software

Pros: Good Video capture, fair audio, Good DVD's made by DVD Complete. Produces fair to good MPEG2 at bitrates above 3 MB/S.
Cons: You MUST HAVE the latest software (drivers and DVD Complete). I run XP and let this baby sit for a year until last summer. Downloaded and sent off for two software updates in the mean-time. Good thing I waited to actually use it, though. Because, fina

decent peice of equipment

Pros: easy to use
Cons: drivers are hard to locate
Summary: fairly decent for what it is had a few issues with getting the drivers to get it to work correctly but all and all i can't complain about it

Worked once, then crashed!

Pros:
Cons: Worked one time, then the devices would not show up in the capture mode. No support since Pinnacle says it is obsolete.

Ruing, why I bought it

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Sucks, VCD created is bad quality, takes about 10 hours for rendering and hour of video, waste of money, customers were cheated.

Easy To Use.... But you need the Upgrades

Pros: Converts easily from TV, VCR, Video Tape, . Once you download the updates it works like a dream. Have converted 100's of tapes and Tv Programmes. Best thing I ever bought.
Cons: Initially a bit dounting but works superbly. Shame Pinnacle have decided not to release any more upgrades. Much better than Their Version..

Excellent for analog to digital

Pros: Has a good feature set if they work.
Cons: Hardware can't be seen by anything else (even most of its own software). DVD burning software doesn't recognize most DVD burners. Loading the drivers breaks other software. Dazzles' own updates break software and drivers. Fixes given by support do no

Software and drivers worthless!

Pros: Hardware design good. Has all the features I was looking for in a capture device.
Cons: Would not install drivers and hardware with windows xp. My emails were answered, but the recommendations did not work. I have had to reformat my hard drive, and re-install millenium. Shouldn't have to destroy your computer to get this 240.00 piece of jun
