A great piece of componentry. While I would prefer a dressier and higher-tech look, the durability of this beast is unsurpassed.
I've owned several models from SanDisk, Kingston, and others from the chain store lines, they didn't survive 6 months in my less than gentle hands. My 2GB is over a year old and has made its way through a front-load washer at least a half-dozen times and through the dryer three or four times. It has seen the bottom of my pool and the bottom of my shoe, after being stepped on.
I've seen several reviews that claim this thing picks up pocket lint and it does until you treat it well. I treated mine to some automotive rubber dressing, being careful not to get any under the cap. The cap is friction fit, so I can imagine what might happen if I slicked that area up. After treating, no more lint.
It isn't quite as quick as my OCZ Rally thumb drives, but it is definitely much faster than the Crucial Gizmo or anything I've seen from Kingston.
Looking at the current prices, this run of drives is hard to beat, especially if you go with the dual-channel 2 or 4GB models.
For those who might be concerned about what you might see when peeling the rubber casing back, just don't peel it back. Don't bend it in half and don't exert undue pressure on the unit when it is inserted into a USB port. Of course, most drives wouldn't handle the abuse this one takes - what might kill this drive would definitely destroy most others.
If you can handle the looks, get this drive.

The "durable rubber" casing the package refers to is absolute junk and totally ruins an otherwise decent product. Inside the super-soft rubber one might expect to find some metal reinforcement or at least plastic, but no -- you can peel the rubber back to expose the circuit board. The cap is anything but water resistant -- splash this thing and it will surely fail. The key-ring loop is made of the same soft rubber that is sure to break in less than a week or two of shoving it in your pocket with your keys. The soft rubber also acts as a thermal insulator, letting it get scorching hot inside. Worst of all, you can feel the circuit board flex and make cracking sounds right through the weak rubber when even the slightest force is applied -- and Corsair doesn't cover physical damage in their warranty. This is one product to avoid. I am shocked that Corsair would produce such a low grade piece of junk.
