Good and fast

Pros: Fast write and read speeds; prices falling now as USB 3.0 drives become available.
Cons: Probably about $4 more expensive than the ordinary, much slower USB drives.
Summary: Fast enough to use as an operating system emergency boot device. Very useful if you manage a group of computers at home, school, or small/medium business.
