Pros: The extra stretchy and sturdy attachment hose put up with my abuse. When I started to vacuum the floor, it almost took off without me
Cons: So far none. It's not even that loud. It sucked the dust out of my computer tower without disturbing anything and sucked up the stray cat litter that was tracked on the carpet. It did everything I asked it to

Summary: I don't think you can do any better for a vacuum that is under a $100. Bissell has several models that are, but not all are 12 amp. You want the power. Look for the 12 amp label on the unit itself. I also own a bissell floor sweeper that my grandmother got me 35 years ago, and a bissell carpet shampooer that was under $60. It's great. Bissell means " it will last a lifetime." They just don't break. And I am hard on appliances. It has 12 amps; rewinding 30 ft cord; self propelled, washable filter plus additional air freshening filter, extra sturdy stretchy attachment hose with brush, crevice, and power brush attachments, 5 settings including bare floor, 15 inch wide base with side cleaning and constant power suck, hand empty dirt container, no filter there. (Whew) I paid $79 at Walmart. I over reach when ever I use attachments, usually knocking over the vacuum in the process. It could take my rough style. It cleaned dirt above the doors, the baseboards, and hard to reach places other vacuums won't clean. I attribute this to the constant pull of air from the 12 amp motor. This vacuum has a 2 year warranty when the others made by bissell seemed to have a one year warranty. The auto rewind meant that I was never tripping over the cord as I could make it stay taught while using it. Then when I was done, I just pushed a button and it slowly and deliberately pulled in the power cord. I don't think it is a gadget that will break. The unit weighs 17 lbs and is very sturdy.
