  Sucks great, which was my #1 problem with other vacuums

  Pros: Easy to move around, long cord compared to others, sucks great even when almost full, easy to dump the dirt and easy to clean. I like the see-thru part, to see if I should dump it out or just keep on going. Floor part and wand part both suck good.

  Cons: purple. I'm a married white guy in mid 50's. Purple? come on.

  Summary: I clean...not my wife. I'd buy another. Have had our Shark Navigator about 2 years as of May 2013. Still works great. Nothing breaking or not working. Suction as good as on day 1. Get frustrated when I use other vacuums at say...my parents' house or others in the family. Floor part and wand part both work good. Use it for the house, the car, cellar spider cobwebs, (I live in the NorthEast), and even use it on pretty rough stuff, the dirty fake green grass stuff under our carport that gets rained on, snowed on,
  mud on, etc. Guys, buy this one....just try to forget that it's purple.

  Better than my Kirby or Dyson!

  Summary: I have owned a Kirby Sentria and a Dyson as my last two vacuums. The Shark Navigator is as good as my Dyson and better than my Kirby(after a couple years of use). The unit is lightweight, powerful, and fits between chairs and other furniture without having to move everything just to vacuum the house. My Kirby lost power once the bag was about 1/2 full. The Shark continued to have the same great suction even when the canister is full. Lifetime filters and a canister rather than bags - this thing will pay for itself in a couple years compared to my Kirby. I bought this as suggested by a family member and after seeing it got an A- (in the top 10) from Good Housekeeping's Best Vacuums for Allergies. Every vacuum ahead of the Shark was $350+ on the list. EVERYONE should own this vacuum!
