Great web cam for the money.

Pros: Easy set up, good instruction manual. No problems. Detects which chat setups you may already have for ease of operation. Good quality 5 megapixel pivture quality. Reasonable price. around $55.00.
Cons: Wanted to install 720 HD program, but even with a new computer with ample resources, I didn't have enough for the requirements for this.

Summary: Logitech is the brand to go with. I had initially spent about $38 and got an inferior GE cam, which was nothing but problems installing and then trying to remove. You get what you pay for. I had an older Logitech web cam with Windows XP, and glad I stayed with Logitech. Much much better quality than the GE.

I wish it worked

Pros: cheap HD camera
Cons: Installed the latest drivers and software. "No camera Detected." Tried 2 computers = 6 USB ports. Other USB devices working fine. Just the camera doesn't get detected.

Summary: I had the exact same problem as the previous reviewer, with my newly bought camera installed in win XP 32 bit computer. "No Webcam Detected" I tried two different computers = 6 USB ports. other usb devices working fine. Other cameras working fine too. It's just this piece of crap camera that says "No webcam detected." I couldn't even get to see the video or audio quality. Will probably just return this piece of crap. (Isn't it possible to give it a negative rating?)

Constantly Zooms in and out

Pros: Easy to install, great picture when working
Cons: I'm on a Windows 7 laptop. No matter what program I use (Yahoo, Skype, ISPQ, etc) the camera constantly zooms in and out. I've turned off "follow my face", and turned off "auto focus". reinstalled. worked with support. No joy!

Pros: Easy install, great look, great mic.
Cons: Could have a better attachment piece. It is somewhat awkward getting it stable on a laptop screen. Perhaps more rubber or a bit of a non residue stick pad?

You can manipulate where you want the pictures and files to drop to make it easier to locate ( such as a desktop folder etc) The one hitch I noticed ( but this may be a twitter issue) is that you cannot flash post pictures to twitter, only videos....That is odd. I have a Toshiba C655 laptop on a windows 7 64 system and there were none of the install problems the previous users reported so if you have a 64 operating system this should install flawlessly; otherwise you may need to manually download a 32 bit version or something.

Pros: Great audio / video after instalation. and no audio / video after restart.
Cons: Many people has the same problem. What Logitech is doing for this? Why this product is so complicate?

Pros: great audio and video quality, when is working...
Cons: instal logitech 310 hd webcam from cd and on line. after restart, software is lost (0 bits on pc/control painel) and webcam is not detect. tried several times. what's wrong?
