Pros: Structured workouts with a variety of exercises that focus on maintaining a heart rate that will burn carbs and fat.
Cons: Cheesy graphics and music, workout interruptions from battery-saving Wii remote habits, and Sports Active peripherals stopped working after the first workout.

Summary: There's a great idea here but it is hamstrung(ha!) by EA's mediocre, low budget development effort. With the cheesy graphics and music, and the hardware issues that obviously haven't been thought out, it's hard to believe it was created by the same company that publishes Madden, Tiger Woods, etc.
It is, however, a better workout(if you can get the hardware to work) than anything you could possibly get from Wii Fit Plus, which was apparently developed by a team of lawyers and an 80-year-old Tai-Chi master.
After battling EA's partially functioning, non-intuitive support site for 30 minutes last night, I finally made my hardware issues known the EA support kids; haven't received support response in over 12 hours so far - I hope to hear from them soon.
Pros: I like the pre-planned workouts you can choose from, and not having to deal with the nunchuck cord and taking it in and out of the holster is a huge improvement. It works on the "positive re-enforcement" theory which is nice.
Cons: Sometimes doesn't read my movements properly, and will stop mid-exercise if the remote or balance board turn off, even if you don't need them for that particular exercise.

Summary: I got this game for Christmas, and I'm enjoying it so far. I'm working on the 9-week program that it comes with so all my work-outs are already planned out. I like that the program also allows for "rest days", so I don't feel obligated to use it 7 days a week.
The resistance band is what it is...it's not really going to offer much of a challenge, but it's better than nothing. I just made mine shorter to try and increase resistance a bit. You still can't expect the same results you'd get using weights. Since there's no sensor in the bad, I suggest using weights instead if you want that extra oomph.
Not having to deal with that stupid cord from the nuncheck to the remote, and taking it in and out of the holster is a huge improvement from EA Sports Active. The leg band seems to work fine, although you have to have it on quite tight otherwise it just falls down your leg as you work out.
I like that it switches activities quite frequently too. The work-out I did yesterday was a half-hour long, with 33 exercises. You don't get bored doing the same thing for too long and they do a good job of switching things up often enough to keep it from getting stale.
My biggest beef with this game is that even if you're mid-exercise and it loses the connection to the Balance Board or the remote, it stops and won't start up again until the connection has been restored. This is utterly ridiculous, because you have to stop what you're doing just to turn on a piece of equipment that you're not even using. I've since changed the settings to not even use the balance board at all since most exercises you don't even need it for, and some you CAN'T use it for, so I've simply set it to not use it at all, but it will still do the same thing of the remote turns off.
I like that this game is very encouraging. THere is a lot of positive feedback from the trainer, and if you're not doing something quite right, it doesn't get all uppity on you, just waits for you to catch up or get the hang of it. I like the summary you get at the end of each workout too telling you how you did. I also like that it gives you time to grab a drink of water in between exercises if you want, but I do wish there was a way to skip though those little breaks and move on faster if you wanted it too.
All in all it's a good work-out that I don't get bored with, but I also don't expect to get buff off of. Since I'm not a skier or snowboarder, I tend to not get much exercise in the winter, so this is a great game to keep me active during the winter months, and something fun I can do in my living room without having to move furniture around to do it too.
But please EA, come up with a way to keep the game going even if equipment you're not even using turns off!!!!
