Summary: The single player mode in this game is very good. As you collect elebits you start to gain the ability to turn on various pieces of electronic equipment which then releases charged elebits which level up your gun. This ratio of charged elebits to regular elebits is almost always directly related. Meaning, if you can find all the elebits that only require a level 1 gun to find you will then accrue enough watts to turn on some electronic device. Then there will be just enough charged elebits to gain a level on your gun letting you pick up heavier items and the process repeats itself. It's simple but fun.
The problem is, in multiplayer mode there are no charged elebits so there is no leveling up of your gun. So really all you do in multiplayer is get as many elebits as you can. Of course that might just be a mode of multiplay that I haven't unlocked yet. But from what I have accomplished (unlocked) so far, the multiplayer is just a "throw and find" game which is HIGHLY favored to whoever has control of the camera.
I would only buy this game if you want to play single player. If you have intentions on playing this game in multiplayer mode I WOULD RENT IT FIRST.

While humans and Elebits have always lived in harmony, these friendly beings love to cause trouble, and it's up to players to track them down and put an end to their mischief.
