Pros: Graphics are exactly as I expected for a Wii game
All the players are there
Some challenges are engaging, "beat Casey Stoner in wet at Phillip Island"
Replay options a plenty
Skill required to win creates game longevity
Cons: Wii Control options are terrible
No real character customisation
Bike setup defaults for each race and do not create much difference
No Online
No upgrades I can see
Release far too late for MotoGP 2008
No bike adjustments for challenges

Summary: I have waited for this game since it was advertised at last years Oz grandprix, Out now they said Ha, sounds like they could not figure out how to make Wii control system work and yes all the Control schemes don'twork. There are many games that somehow simplify a real life task and make it accessible for all, obviously the hand held controller as a way to ride acomputerised bike was a big leap Surely it can be stepped up using the wiimote. At no stage is the movement sensing in the nunchuk used.or after the obligatory wiimote only option, motion sensing is only used for throttle and gear changing. Capcom have tried to comprimise too much to fit all the possiblilties of a MotoGp bike in, turning into a corner, using front and rear brakes, adjusting riding position, switching down gears and looking behind, sheesh, it would take a motogp rider to master it. I can't believe there is no front and rear brake combined. Yes I ride a bike and yes I often dont use the rear brake but let riders pick their own style, that's why Motogp is worth watching as every rider takes different lines based on their style. Challenges vary wildy in difficulty. In one of them you must remain above a certain speed, too bad you can't get to that speed before the first checkpoint. Big differences in difficulty, (you fall off easier)
I want to love this game and have put in many hours but I am mainly restarting games or challenges to show I have beaten it without actually having any fun. the only really great part is after every crash I don't have to go to hospital for month
