Summary: my sims is one of the most enjoyable games you will ever play on the wii. its the first my sims game away from the pc so that means it will be less adulty an more kidish.
The graphics are more colourful than the previous sims games so that means it will be more attractive to everyone, which means the gameplay will be for younger people unlike the previous formats. i rate the graphics 9 out of 10.
The new stuff about this sims is that the creation is better and theirs a wider range of stuff you can do with your house or someone else's house. In mysims the main objective is to make the town more cooler so more people will come to it with the help of the mayor. You can make your town fun, geeky, spooky, tasty, studious and cute.
the gameplay is fun on the wii because you can use the remote to do a variety of things. For example to get an apple down from a tree you have to shake the remote, when your creating something you have to drag the item to the place you want to.
I've played mysims and its one of the best games around, i recommend it to everyone. I rate it 9.5 out of 10
Summary: I really like this game! I think it's adorable and my niece really loves it. I don't think it's really aimed towards adults but it's so cute and it's actually fun to play.
Pros: it is relatively inexpensive compared to other Wii games
Cons: Game is plagued with tedious "tasks" the user must complete, navigation is difficult and frustrating, characters are annoyingly cute, game does not run smoothly- user constantly has to sit and wait through the "info loading" screen

Summary: I am really angry that I spent money on this product. I loved the original computer version and expected this to be the same, but unfortunately it is nothing like the original. The graphics are characters are sickeningly cutesy and the game itself is really difficult to navigate. The user has to point to objects and put them in certain places (as ordered to do by the obnoxious "mayor" character), but it is impossible to get them in the right places. Trying to "build" things just made me want to throw the controller across the room in frustration. In addition, trying to move the character anywhere is awkward and dizzying, as the character doesn't really move where you want them to go, and the slightest movement of the nunchuck makes the screen spin around. Instead of the characters being able to socialize and entertain the user, the game is focused on a series of lame and pointless tasks, like "shake this tree for 10 minutes and bring 10 apples to the mayor" and "build the mayor a podium for speeches." I felt like this game is geared towards little kids, however little kids would be unable to operate it and would not have the patience to do it, so it ends up being a game that is useless for all age groups. Overall I found this game to be a complete disappointment, which is really a shame because the original Sims for PC was such a fun game. All the creators of MySims would have had to do was maintain the original concept and maybe just updated some of the features and they would have had a winner. Instead, they messed with it and made a bunch of pointless changes and ended up ruining the whole thing.
