  The motion controls are terrible, ClassicController=fun

  Pros: Last year's 2K10 was alright, as we know. This is slightly better. Classic Controller controls can be interesting.

  Cons: Motion controls are borderline terrible. I would rather play real hockey and fall on my arse a few times. Nearly snapped my femur in the process of a slapshot with the MotionPlus.

  Summary: We have to face the depressing fact that Wii + hardcore sport games is a nonexistent combo. But this is surely the best I've seen. The Road to the Cup mode is good for families, but a few quirky minigames aren't enough to satisfy me in that category. On the other hand, the online mode is quite irritating. Barely anyone plays and leagues are commonly named "tha bestho ckey teamm evurrr". On the other (other) hand, the singleplayer is more intuitive than last year's and can be quite good when you set it on a high difficulty. Commentators sound a bit less like a text-to-speech program, the AI has improved a bit, yet the graphics are still the same. All-in-all, it's still fun to play as Kesler. I recommend it if the Wii is the only game console you own.
