  Great game, but disappointing around the edges

  Pros: Solid game upholding the genre and great play list.

  Cons: Delay in release for Wii would have been acceptable if not for the short falls in many of the finishing details and elements.

  Summary: The game itself is masterful and the play list offered a great variety from bubble gum pop to 70s rock and everything in between. But I was severely disappointed in several of the details and smaller asspects that add to the gaming experience. For instance...
  
  - the guitar used for wii Guitar Hero isn't compatible (come'on, how hard is that).
  
  - the guitar I recieved in the Rock Band package was also not nearly as "responsive" as the mock gibson version I had for GH.
  
  - the visuals through out didn't seem to stand-up to the look from GH3. Not a biggie but when your wife walking in and out of the room mentions it you know somethings lacking.
  
  Overall its a great game, but the misses on those smaller details was a let down.
