Summary: I have Wii Sports to start with then I started buying mario Games etc. The two big mistakes I did was buying 'Sea Monsters" and "Thrillville" so far. I am going to be cautious from now on when there is a sale or cheaper games for wii. Whatever I bought so far cheap are all boring and diffiocult to play.
My 9 year old literally deserted it. She loved Mario Kart, but this is not even 1/100 fun of Mario.
Pros: The minigames are loads of fun. Riding your coasters is a blast
Cons: too cartoony, the energy factor

Summary: I bought this game hoping it would be similar to PC's RCT. But it has very little to do with it. The minigames are great and most are re-playable. It is easy to create and finish your park. But it is still really fun.
Summary: I bought the game on a whim because I was a fan of the PC game "Roller Coaster Tycoon". This has very little to do with RCT. Not that it's a bad thing though. The actual main game leaves a bit to be desired as it is a bit confusing and a little "clunky". However, there are 50 mini-games that are actaully very fun to play...any many are very re-playable. Also, if you just want to build coasters, there is a very easy coaster builder where there are a lot of different coaster styles. You can build some INSANE coasters and then ride them. I would have bought it just for the mini-game sand for the coaster builder.
Description:Thrillville: Off the Rails, a sequel on the family-friendly Wii, set to launch later this month. Part theme park manager, roller coaster designer, and mini game collection, Thrillville: Off the Rails picks up where the first game left off with a lighthearted story tying all of the disparate elements together. The plot revolves around building a great theme park and outsmarting the evil competing corporation GloboJoy. This is advanced through 100 missions and by talking to the people walking around. Thrillville is divided up into themed worlds like Winterville, Spaceville, and Aeroville. Each world is populated with appropriately themed rides and mini games. The theme park management part of the game is not as thorough as something like Roller Coaster Tycoon, but players are able to create and customize an entire park, creating rides and strategically placing them to appease the crowds. Through conversations with parkgoers, the player learns better ways to manage things. It's all handled in a casual way that teaches younger players some basic rules of business without weighing down the game with sim-like features.
